Southern Waste Management Open April 17-18 to help fund golf clubs for youth

Ten-year-old Gigi and 8-year-old Gabriel Madrid work on their putting game at the Devine Golf Course.

Southern Waste Management of Texas will be hosting its First Annual Southern Waste Management Open at the Devine Golf Course on April 17th and 18th.
Proceeds will go towards purchasing 10 sets of youth golf clubs (5boys/5girls). These will be available to anyone who wishes to have their youngsters play golf at any time at the Devine Golf Proshop for FREE. It can be expensive to purchase these items for your kids; therefore, Southern Waste is going to help eliminate these costs. Their mission is to give the youth the proper equipment for their age and size in order to give all kids an opportunity to learn the game at a young age. There are plans for more opportunities for the youth depending on how much money we raise. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy the fun as bleachers will be provided for fans to sit and be a part of the game on hole #17, as well as food and music for all ages.
If anyone is interested in donating, please contact 210-990-1441.
