Shomari Saranyu Aman Anderson

Shomari Saranyu Aman Anderson, of San Antonio, entered eternal rest on January 12, 2019 at the age of 17 years. He was born July 26, 2001 in Ferriday, Louisiana, the oldest child of William Newton Anderson, Jr. and Kara Marie Kramer Anderson.
Shomari was currently a Junior at Harlan High School. He was #82, a starting wide receiver for the Harlan High School football team. He was proud to be a member of Harlan’s very successful inaugural season, in which the team advanced into the playoffs. He also participated in baseball.
Shomari loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed hanging with friends, playing video games and buying and trading shoes. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his girlfriend, Abigail Briones.
Survivors include his loving parents, William and Kara Anderson of San Antonio; brother and sisters, Kamali, Isabella and Paria Anderson all of San Antonio; grandparents, William and Karen Anderson, Sr. of Nashville, Tennessee, Noodang Massey of Thailand; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Shomari was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joseph Kramer and Calvin Massey and his aunt Ashley Annette Anderson.
Visitation was Saturday, January 19, 2019 starting at 11:45 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:00 pm, both at Oak Hills Church, 12280 Alamo Ranch Parkway, San Antonio, Texas 78253.
Services concluded at the church.
