Shirley Irean (Hervey) Richards, of Natalia, passed away Saturday June 23, 2018 in San Antonio, at the age of 80.
Shirley was born February 4, 1938 in Ogden, Kansas to George and Minnie (Haase) Hervey.
She is preceded by her parents, George and Minnie Hervey; husband of 62 years, Walter A. Richards, and a sister, Opal Haase.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Don and wife Dixie Richards, Ron and wife Saundra Richards; daughter, Sheryl Richards-Navarro; brothers, George Hervey, John Hervey, Don Hervey, Dan Hervey; sister, Elain Hervey-Ellenwood; grandchildren, Joshua Richards, Jeremy and wife Lori Richards, Waco and wife Julie Richards, Tyler and husband Dominic Slattery, Tamara Richards, Tabatha and husband Juan Navarro; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Kaylee, Emma, Kendall, and Laney Rae.
A memorial service will be held Saturday July 14, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Devine Community Center, 200 E. Hondo Ave. Devine, Texas.
There will be no visitation at the Hurley Funeral Home in Devine prior to the service.
