Sheriff’s department tracks down thief who stole Bible, golf cart

The Medina County Sheriff’s Department arrested a male subject this past Sunday, charging him with Burglary of a Habitation and Theft as well.
“After the theft of a golf cart at a residence up north near the county line we began surveillance on the residence, thinking the thieves would return, and they did,” said Sheriff Randy Brown.
The burglary happened on FM 471 N in northeastern Medina County near the county line.
“We were able to track the burglar back to a mobile home park on Tally Road, where we executed a search warrant making the arrest and recovering most of the stolen property including jewelry boxes full of jewelry, an accordion, TV, antique clock, a Bible, a knife, and a golf cart.”
The suspect was booked into Medina County Jail.
