Sheriff in standoff with suspect on Thanksgiving

According to the Medina County Sheriff’s office, they were involved in a standoff with a suspect, claiming to be armed and making threats this past Thursday, November 25. It happened in the 700th block of Palfrey Street in Natalia as they executed a warrant for the arrest of a suspect on prior Aggravated Assault w/ a Deadly Weapon charges. The suspect, Steven Richard Fulton, 36 of Natalia, was safely taken into custody.
“On Thanksgiving Day, around noon, we executed a warrant on Steven Fulton for an Aggravated Assault of a woman,” Sheriff Randy Brown stated. “He was hiding in the rear room of a single-wide mobile home, claiming to have a gun, saying he was going to shoot us. After a short conversation with him, he surrendered.”
“We had been after him for a while as he evaded arrest on a motorcycle prior to this,” Sheriff Brown added.
Fulton was booked into Medina County Jail on November 25, where he remains, with no bond due to Parole Violation.
