Sharon Ann Pilgrim, of Lytle, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at the age of 60.
Sharon was born November 16, 1958 in Castroville to Floyd McOsker and Elaine (Stone) Connover.
She was a graduate of Southwest High School with the class of 1977.
On December 9, 1989 she married Thomas A. “Skeeter” Pilgrim, Jr, inLaCoste, Texas, and together they raised their blended family of three boys.
Sharon was the Vice President of Operations at the Lytle State Bank for over 28 years.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Thomas A. “Skeeter” Pilgrim, Jr.; her father, Floyd and wife Doris McOsker; her mother, Elaine Connover and Jerry Barnhill; sons, Brandon Roy Barsch and partner Isaac Hatt, Trenton Cole Pilgrim; brothers, Matt and wife Amy McOsker, Bruce and wife Yahaira McOsker; sisters, Linda and husband Dean Tankersley, Audree Gierisch, Brenda and husband John Renkin, Cindy and husband Jeff Zuercher; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Sharon is preceded by her son, Zachary Grant Pilgrim.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to service time at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Lytle.
Chapel service will be Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at noon, at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Lytle. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, it was Sharon’s wishes that memorials be made to the Lytle Animal Shelter or Companion Hospice.
