San Antonio man wanted for capital murder captured in Mexico

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Christopher Combs, Special Agent in Charge, San Antonio FBI, and Chief William McManus, San Antonio Police Department, announce the capture of a San Antonio man wanted for capital murder for his alleged involvement in a 2016 home invasion in San Antonio.
The 22-year-old man was captured by Mexican authorities on January 30, 2020 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico. The man was released to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials at the international bridge in Eagle Pass. He is currently detained at the Maverick County Sheriff’s Office awaiting transport to Bexar County.
The successful fugitive investigation resulted from the joint efforts and collaboration between the FBI, SAPD, U.S Customs and Border Protection and Mexican authorities.
