Rose Marie Brieden Jay went to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 6, 2017.
Born in Devine Texas on August 12, 1934.
Rose is preceded in death by; Parents; Alfred and Alma Haass Brieden, Husband; Eugene Victor Jay, Brothers; Leon David Brieden, Alfred Brieden Jr., Claude Brieden Jr., Robert James Brieden, Leon Alfred Brieden, George William Brieden, Sisters; Ida Mae Brieden, Madelyn Smith, Carolyn Hooper Manning, Daughter; Cynthia Marie Jay.
Rose is survived by; Sister; Katherine Breiden Lindsey and Husband Lyndell of Salado, TX, Children; Vickie Curry of Devine, Hugh and Marcy Jay of Devine, Thomas and Gayle Jay of Devine, Daniel and Cheryl Jay of Devine, Debi and Ray Fargason of Moore, Kevin and Tricia Jay of Devine
Rose also has 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Sunday December 10, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine, with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm.
Funeral Mass was Monday December 11, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Devine with interment following at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to express their Thanks to Mr. Bobby Phillips for all of his thoughts and help and friendship to our mom.
