Richard Wayne Freeman, beloved son, brother, grandson and uncle, of San Diego, California, was taken too soon from his loved ones on January 23, 2018 in San Diego at the age of 39 years. Richard was born November 23, 1978 in San Antonio and grew up in the La Coste area. In 1997, he graduated from Medina Valley High School.
Richard was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude J. and Inez Hans Salzman and Harry J. Freeman.
Survivors include his parents, Billy and Rhonda Freeman of La Coste; sisters and brothers-in-law, Michelle and Clark Crutchfield, Jennifer and Duaine Hendrickson all of La Coste; brothers, David Freeman and Danny Freeman both of La Coste; grandmother, Syd Freeman of La Coste; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2018 starting at 1:00 pm at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home, with a Memorial Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 pm at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. A reception will follow the Memorial Service at the Medina Valley VFW Post #8134 Hallin La Coste.
