Richard Dacosta went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2017. He was born April 12, 2002 in San Antonio, TX but lived and went to school in Natalia, TX.
He is survived by his parents David and Marisol Dacosta, his brother Jose “Joey” Hernandez, sisters, Angela (Juan) Alfaro, Audrie Sanchez, and Anna Cortez. He has two nephews, one niece, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Richard was a happy, loving, child of God. He was loved by all he came into contact with. He will be greatly missed. “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believes in Him who sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.” John 5:24
A celebration of his life was held on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 7:00 pm at Hurley Funeral Home in Lytle. A brief service was held at the funeral home on Friday morning at 10:00 am, followed by burial at the Dacosta family cemetery.
