Ramon G. Soto passed away surrounded by his loving family on August 19, 2021, at the age of 75.
He was born to Ventura and Guadalupe Soto on November 21, 1945, in Lytle, Texas. Ramon is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Estacio Soto, Leandro Soto, Concepcion “Chon” Soto, Matias Soto and Larry Soto; and sister, Margarita Soto.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Maria E. Soto; daughters, Caroline Hernandez (Javier), Helen Estrada (Reyes Jr.) and Laura Soto; brothers, Victor Soto, Geronimo Soto, Matias Soto, Antonio Soto; sisters, Delia Perez, Ester Arrendondo, Nicolasa Soto and Juanita Laque; grandchildren, Marisol, Araceli, Desire, Destiny, Danielle, Dylan and Nyeli.
A visitation was held on Monday, August 23, 2021, from 5pm to 9pm with a rosary recited at 7pm at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Lytle, Texas.
A mass was celebrated on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 10am at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Lytle, Texas with interment to follow in Lytle Community Cemetery.
