Pirate baseball is back and was in action Monday night against Devine. Once again led by Coach Bryan Bippert, the Pirates look to improve on last season’s 22-7-1 record. Making it into the playoffs, the Pirates lost twice to Industrial.
With 10 returning varsity including 6 starters, Coach Bippert “feels like this team can do something special if we come together and put in the work.” But with only just over a month before district, they will have to make the most of every practice and game. Missing just four players to basketball, the team is already making the most of every minute on the field.
The Pirates will take on Cornerstone Christian Academy on Feb. 14, Burbank on Feb 14, and hold their alumni scrimmage on Feb 19. District will start March 15.
