This year has presented unprecedented challenges for the entire automotive industry, but our local dealerships continue to be champions for their customers and community.

Few realize the enormous impact and amount of support that comes from our local auto dealerships, and so it is our pleasure to recognize the Brown Chevrolet team, which earned a special award this week. The Mark of Excellence award was presented to Owner Robert Brown, General Manager Ronnie Harrell and team on Monday, August 30th.
“I would like to thank all of our 45 employees for helping us win this award. It truly takes a team effort,” said Ronnie Harrell, General Manager at Brown Chevrolet. “It’s a pleasure to be working for such a great organization whose involvement in the surrounding communities and organizations makes a difference.”
According to a Chevrolet press release, “The Mark of Excellence Dealer Trophy is given for leading the dealer network in superior customer sales, service and experience, while growing their business while exceeding customer service goals.”
A lot of hard work, dedication, and small-town customer service goes into achieving this prestigious award over and over again–5 times in the past 11 years.
A press release stated, “It is an honor to receive the 2020 Mark of Excellence Award from Chevrolet. On behalf of everyone at Brown Chevrolet we’d like to thank all of our valued customers for your support. We look forward to continuing the momentum through 2021!”
A local customer who has done business with Brown for years, stated:
“We’ve been doing business with them for 11 years. We have bought two vehicles from them. What I like is my salesman at Brown, Noel, he is not a pressure salesman. We sit down and he tells us what we could get for a trade and what the vehicle costs. Their team is very down to earth, and they treat you right,” said customer and Devine News reader Blaine Eaton.
“I love supporting local business and also the convenience of having the dealership right here in our community. Their service team is great too. It’s that small town atmosphere every time we go,” Eaton adds.
