Olivia V. Hernandez age 90 of Devine, Texas passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 in Pearsall, Texas.
Olivia was born in Eagle Pass, Texas on July 26, 1928 to Dionicio Velarde and Claudia Barrera Velarde.
Olivia is preceded in death by her parents, Dionicioa and Claudia Velarde; husband, Hector Hernandez; brothers, Dionicio Velarde, Alejandro Verlarde, Rolando Verlarde, Abraham Verlarde; sister, Oralia Morris.
Olivia is survived by her sons, Hector Hernandez and wife, Yvette; Richard Hernandez; sister, Hilda Mesa; three grandchildren, Stephen Hernandez, Aaron Hernandez, Joseph Hernandez; one great-grandchild, Maddison Hernandez.
Visitation was Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine, Texas. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Devine, Texas with services to conclude at the church.
