Mustangs
Jeramiah Castro was named District Offensive MVP.
Pitcher Diego Zapata, outfielder Anton Felker, and Utility man Isaiah Gomez were named to the 1st Team All-District squad.
2nd Team nods went to pitcher Matthew Contreras, 1st baseman Peter Billalobos, 3rd baseman Caden Fregia, and outfielder Uriel Arrellano.
“It is always great to see our kids get recognized for on the field accomplishments by other coaches,” Mustang baseball coach Philip Martinez said. “They work very hard throughout the year to get them ready to compete game after game. This year we needed guys to step up who were inexperienced at the varsity level but that did not stop them. I’m proud of each individual who received an award and look forward to next year to see them grow.
“We are going to miss our seniors, and we wish them the best of luck.”
