Natalia Police Report August 17-27


August 17

8:43 PM – Officer responded to the 700 blk. of Miller St. about a welfare concern on an estranged wife and infant child. Officer went over to the residence and made contact with estranged wife and child. Both were in good health and sound mind. Officer cleared the scene and went back in service.
August 19
8:44 PM – Officer responded to the 1800 blk. of State Hwy. 132 N. about a vehicle fire off the roadway. Officer arrived on scene and provided traffic control until Natalia Fire arrived on scene. Natalia Fire arrived minutes later and extinguished the fire completely.
August 20
6:23 PM – Officer received a phone call that someone had stolen her red Harley Davidson from inside her gate. Officer advised the victim to call the Medina County Sheriff’s Office because she lived out in the county. Officer looked in the area for the bike, but was unsuccessful locating the stolen motorcycle.
August 21
12:03 AM – Officer responded to Love’s Truck Stop about a male and female arguing outside the store and that the male subject had slapped the girl. Officer arrived on location and attempted to locate the couple. Officer was unable to locate the couple.
August 23
7:03 PM – Officer responded to the 300 blk. of 4th St. about shots fired in the area. Officer made the area and spoke to residents. The residents didn’t hear any shots being fired. Officer cleared the scene and went back in service.
August 24
1:15 PM – Officer responded to Dollar General about two Hispanic males that just committed theft from inside the store. Officer was unable to catch the two subjects, but video surveillance footage will be reviewed.
6:23 PM – Officer received information on a male subject that was wanted, and vehicle description was given. Officer later located the vehicle at the corner of 4th St. and Bartlett. Officer located the wanted person. The subject was transported to the Medina County Jail without incident.
11:30 PM – Officer checked out a suspicious male subject at 5th and Palfrey St. later to be in possession of methamphetamine. The male subject was arrested and transported to the Medina County Jail for booking.
August 27
4:52 PM – Officer responded to the 400 blk. of Palfrey St. about a verbal disturbance. Officer arrived on location and made contact with the homeowner. There was a disagreement between her and her son and that her 6-year-old grandson called 911 thinking it was a serious fight. Officer later determined that the argument was only verbal cleared the scene.
