Natalia Police Blotter Aug. 23-29

Aug 23 – Officers assisted Texas DPS with a traffic stop, where a male and female subject were both apprehended for the possession of narcotics, as well as unlawful carry by a felon.
Aug 25 – Officers were called to the 700 Blk of Pearson, where it was observed by the property owner, that a female subject walked inside the home, with the owner’s knowledge that the renters were no longer living there and was vacant. It was later determined that the owner’s daughter was allowing other people to stay inside the home. No pending charges are anticipated to be filed at this time, but will be given Criminal Trespass warnings to prevent any further entry into the residence.
Aug 25 – Officer made contact with one of the females which was found to be associated with the prior call and was given a Criminal Trespass Warning for the listed property. Further investigation found drug paraphernalia within her possession. The female subject was cited and released.
Aug 26 – The SRO at Natalia HS was provided information that a student was said to be stealing Apple Air Pods from other students. Upon interview with the student, two sets of AirPods were recovered and returned to the students. The student was cited and released, pending court date.
Aug 29 – A female subject, who was aware that she had active warrants with the Medina County Sheriff’s Office, came into the police department to willingly turn herself in. The female was transported to the Medina County Jail and booked without incident.
