The Natalia Cross Country teams traveled to FEAST on September 7th and ran with over 3,000 runners from 130 teams. Both the Mustangs and Lady Mustangs Varsity teams preformed well amongst the crowd.

“Varsity girls also gave it their all and I could not be happier with their progress. Leading the girls was Meg Martinez, followed by Tatyana Alvarado, Sofia Almendarez, Ashley Sutton, Britney Castro, Gabby Munoz, and Reagan Juarez,” said Coach Kimberly Lane.
Top finishers for JV boys were David Silva (19:54), Daniel Tristan (21:22), Isaac Martinez (22:03), Elijah Banda ( 22:56), Fabian Ruiz (23:53), and Gianni Rios (24:09). Jeremiah Gomez, Evy Curiel, Devin Chapa, Geo Maldonado, Diego Hernandez, Paul Billalobos, and Mason Cone represented Natalia very well.
“Junior High made their debut and handled the precious well. Members of the Junior High team are Tyler Tenny, Trenton Ellis, Micaiah Patterson, Logan Chapa, Nickolus McHorse, and three more have recently joined. I am looking forward to the progress these athletes will make. The Junior High girls were impressive in their debut at FEAST. Trista Boucher (8th) led the Mustangs, followed by Kody Blanquiz (8th), Viviana Rodriguez (7th), Addison Crowther (8th), Tyli Ventimiglia, (8th), Rose Lafferty (8th), Naveah Mercer (7th), and Sofia Tolbert (7th). We have also recently picked up a few Junior High girls so I am anxious to see what they can do together.
Our next meet will be in Poteet this Saturday followed by Dilley on the 28th. Come support the Cross Country team and see the great things happening with these athletes,” said Coach Lane.
