Natalia City Council approves court management software

The Natalia City Council approved $5,750 to purchase Fund View case management software for Municipal Court during the Regular meeting held on Monday, May 18.

First-year installation costs will be split between the General Fund and the Municipal Court Technology Fund

No action was taken on the City of Natalia’s public health emergency declaration during the Natalia City Council meeting on Monday, May 18.

City Hall remains open to the public with limited restrictions, though residents may still conduct business over the phone or online.

The declaration and amendments are posted on the City’s website at www.cityofnatalia.com.

Police Chief Glenn Barrow was not at the meeting, so no action was taken regarding swearing in reserve officers.

Additionally, City Administrator Lisa Hernandez updated Council on the ongoing project to improve clarifiers at the wastewater treatment plant.

“The Texas Department of Agriculture said we don’t have to do an ecological survey to move forward,” Hernandez said. “It’s going to save us thousands of dollars.”
