Nancy Lee Smith Uzzell of Devine, Texas, was called home to be with our Lord, Friday, May 17, 2019 at the age of 75.
She was born January 8, 1944 in San Antonio, Texas, one of six children born to Clarance Smith and Enda Little Smith.
On January 17, 1959, Nancy married Sherwin (Bubba) Uzzell and celebrated a little over 50 years of marriage. She had two children, son Mark, and daughter Nannette, where she lived for 56 years in Devine, Texas.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents Clarance and Enda Smith, sister Brenda, brothers James and Milton, her husband Bubba Uzzell.
Survivors include her children, Mark Uzzell and Nannette Pilaczynski, son-in-law, John, sister, Annette Smith Uzzell, brother, Kenneth Smith, sister-in-law, Sharron Smith, grandchildren, Kyle Pilaczynski and wife Hilary, Kara McCubbin and husband Travis, great-grandchildren, Gavin and Kodi Pilaczynski as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will Friday, May 24, 2019, 4-8 PM at Alta Vista Funeral Chapel in Natalia, Texas Graveside Service, Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10 AM at Evergreen Cemetery, Devine, Texas.
