oris Dee Guidry, of Lytle, passed away peacefully at her home in Lytle on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at the age of 95.
Doris was born September 24, 1923 in Kress, Texas to Joel and Ollie Bell (Sharp) Wallace, both who precede her. She is also preceded by her husband, Francis Lee Guidry; sons, Wade Daniel Guidry, Bruce Wallace Guidry; brothers, Wade Daniel Wallace, Earl Wallace, Monty Wallace; sisters, Ruby Springer, Jo Evelyn Reardon, Murle Jean Milton; and grandson, Michael Lee Guidry.
She is survived by her sons, Victor Lee and wife Linda Guidry, Alan Ray Guidry; daughter, Gayle and husband Tommy Pacheco; daughter-in-law; Sue and husband Barry Bales; grandchildren, Mary Owens, Matthew Joel Guidry, Tiffany Fettis; three great-grandchildren, Deeanna Nicole Washington, Jazmine Diane Washington, Isabella Luciana Owens; brother, Johnny Bruce Wallace and sister, Faye Bergeron
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Lytle.
Chapel Service will be held Friday, May 24, 2019 at 10:00 am at Hurley Funeral Home Chapel, in Lytle, with Pastor Ben Craver officiating, with interment to follow at Lytle Community Cemetery in Lytle.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
