The Natalia Varsity Mustangs fell to the Devine Warhorses on Monday, 34-78. Down 11-17 at the end of the first, the Mustangs could never catch back up and trailed the rest of the game. The Mustangs carry 7 boys on their varsity and as a team they only made 2 of their 13 free throws.
With a tough district season coming up, this game was a good look at what they need to focus on to win. The Mustangs will head to Karnes City December 3rd and then to the McMullen tournament December 5-7th.
