Marvin Henry Boehm

Marvin Henry Boehm, of San Antonio, passed away on October 20, 2019, on his father’s birthday, at the age of 81. He was born December9, 1937 in Charlotte, Texas to Louis Henry Boehm and Lillie Katharina Heinen Boehm.
Marvin was a graduate of Charlotte High School. On August 19, 1960, Marvin married Mary Emma Christina Krueger at Faith Lutheran Church in San Antonio, Texas.
Marvin served in the United States Army. He was a member of American Legion Post #300. After serving in the military, he worked at Southwest Research Institute, where he retired after working there for thirty-seven years.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie and Byron Krause; son and daughter-in-law, Marvin H., Jr. and Melanie Ann Boehm; grandchildren, Colby (Vanessa) Krause, Ryan (Kimberly) Krause, Marvin H. (Jacquelyn) Boehm, III, Meghann Boehm and Marshall Boehm; great-grandchildren, Weston Krause and Kadence Krause and sister-in-law, Elsie Krueger.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lillie Heinen Boehm; wife, Mary E. Boehm; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carolyn and Robert Smith and Lillian and Adolph Reeh; in-laws, Dorothy and John Schwerdtfeger and Henry Krueger.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, October 25, 2019 at 10:00 am at Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
Memorials may be made in Marvin’s memory to the Zion Lutheran Church Castroville Youth Group or Wounded Warrior Project.
