Mark J Lockamy, 61, passed away on October 5, 2020 in San Antonio, TX. He was born in San Antonio, TX on May 12, 1959. He was a caring, helpful, hardworking father, grandfather and friend to many. Mark was a proud Army Veteran who loved to keep himself busy when he wasn’t watching his Westerns. He was very creative and anyone who knew him would say he was the “Jack of all trades.”He loved to cook and share his food with everyone.
He is survived by his children, Mark J. Lockamy Jr. and fiancee Crystal Valle, Leeann Lockamy Alvarez and husband Tito; Grandkids, Damien Chaviria, Devin Lockamy, Alexander Lockamy, Cameron Lockamy, Isaac Alvarez and Zachary Alvarez; brothers, James Lockamy and wife Maud and Johnny Lockamy; with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George B. Lockamy and Carmen Marquez; Sister Shannon Lee; Brothers, Robert Lockamy, George L. Lockamy and Ronnie Lockamy.
Visitation was held Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Rosary recited at 7:00 pm Hurley Funeral Home Chapel, Devine, Texas. Burial will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2020 10:45 AM Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery San Antonio, Texas.
