Maria M. Rizo, age 92 of Evans, Colorado, formally of Devine, Texas, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 in Greeley, Colorado.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Francisca (Martinez) Rizo; brothers, Jose Rizo, Jesus Rizo, Juan Rizo, Pete Rizo, Antonio Rizo, and Refugio Rizo; sister, Guadalupe Curiel.
She is survived by her brother, Manuel Rizo, Jr. and Terry Benavides of Devine; sisters, Frances Riojas of Colorado, Angelita Garcia of Greeley, and Refugia Gomez of Utah.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 20, 2017 in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Devine from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday, April 21, 2017 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Natalia, Texas with interment to follow in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Devine, Texas.
