Maria Hinojosa Lopez, age 81 of Devine, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at her residence.
Maria was born in LaCoste, Texas on April 8, 1938 to parents, Ernesto and Simona (Saucedo) Hinojosa.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Lopez; her parents Ernesto and Simona Hinojosa; brothers, Elijio Hinojosa and Arturo Hinojosa; sister, Angie Warner.
She is survived by her children, Vicente and Sylvia Lopez of Mabank, David Lopez of Lytle, Estella and Barnaby Gallegos of Devine, Sandy and David Perez of Devine; and Anna and Joe Aguinaga of Devine; twenty-five grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers; four sisters.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 1, 2020 in the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Lytle from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2020 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in LaCoste with interment to follow in the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Cemetery.
