Man arrested in shooting

A 38-year-old male subject was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon this past Wednesday, December 5, 2019 around 2:30 PM after a man was shot.
“The two men were having an argument when a 31-year-old male was shot in the leg,” said Sheriff Randy Brown.

It happened at a home in the 100 Block of CR 341, over in the Hondo area.
On December 5, the male subject was booked into Medina County Jail and charged with AGG ASSAULT W/DEADLY WEAPON with a $10,0000 Surety Bond, POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PG 1 >=1G with a $50,000 surety bond, and VIOLATION OF BOND/PROTECTIVE ORDER with a $7,500 surety bond.
Prior assault Nov. 27
The suspect was also arrested the week before on a different Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon charge, charged with assaulting a different victim.
According to the Medina County Sheriff’s office, “On November 27, we arrested the suspect for Agg. Assault W/ Deadly Weapon, Possession CS PG 1>= 4G<200G, Assault Family/House Member Impede Breath, Unlawful Restraint, Possession of Marijuana <2oz and Terroristic Threat Cause Fear of Imminent Bodily Injury.”
According to Medina County Sheriff’s office, “In this case a woman was assaulted with a gun used as a club.”
