September 4
1:30 AM – Officers responded to South Side Bar to assist Medina Co. with 1 injured male.
2:07 AM – Officers responded to Little Caesar’s for talk to an officers in reference to restocking the store.
2:30 AM – Officers responded to Lytle Apartments for a report of a suspicious person(s) in the parking lot. Officers made contact with 1 adult male and 1 adult female who were having a discussion in their vehicle.
10:45 AM – Officer responded to First Baptist Church for a funeral escort.
12:49 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home to assist Atascosa EMS with Police escort to the city limits.
3:13 PM – Officer responded to 18400 Blk. of Live Oak St. for a talk to an officer in reference to a missing cow.
3:24 PM – Field contact at 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. resulted in the discovery of two males loading items in the bed of their truck from an abandoned residence. Both males were identified and advised to unload all of the belongings. Criminal charges pending.
8:00 PM – Officer responded to John Lott Park for a report of a loose dog. Officer was unable to locate.
9:40 PM – Officer responded to 19400 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of an incident that occurred at the Pico Store. Officer arrived and was notified that a suspicious vehicle was parked outside the store. Officer made contact with the driver who stated was waiting for her daughter to finish work at the Sonic.
11:35 PM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for an alarm. Officer arrived and searched the area and found building to be secure.
September 5
7:50 AM – Traffic stop at Hacienda Jalisciense resulted in the rider of a motorcycle given a citation and the motorcycle impounded for No Insurance, Expired Registration, Suspended License and Motorcycle Registration to Another Motorcycle.
8:27 AM – Officer responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a talk to an officer in reference to a dispute between two property owners over the property line.
9:05 AM – Traffic stop at Laredo St. and N. Benton St. resulted in the arrest of a 37-year-old male subject for having two Outstanding Warrants, one out of Medina Co. for Driving While License Invalid and the other out of Bexar Co. for Probation Revocation on an Original Charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 < 1g. Subject was transported to Medina Co. Jail.
10:25 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to a restraining order.
11:15 AM – Officer responded to 15300 Blk. of Adams St. for a report of a vehicle burglary. An unknown person(s) stole a wallet, Passport and Driver’s License from the vehicle.
12:25 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Nail & Spa for a talk to an officer in reference to complainant’s ID been compromised an unauthorized credit under complainant’s name was obtained by unknown person(s).
12:29 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 on Ramp at FM 3175 SB for a report of a broken down vehicle blocking a portion of the roadway. Incident was outside city jurisdiction and officer stood by until Atascosa Co. arrived.
2:15 PM – Officer responded to 15600 Blk. of CR 681 for a talk to an officer in reference to 2 missing credit cards. The cards were canceled.
7:15 PM – Officer responded to 16000 Blk. of Lake Shore Dr. for a report of a disturbance between a male and a female.
8:00 PM – Officers responded to Sonic Drive-In for a report of a male locked in the bathroom who was screaming and would not come out. Officers arrived and made contact with the 36-year-old subject who appeared to be having trouble with opening the door. Once out of the bathroom, subject admitted being under the influence of heroin. Subject was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication and Possession of Marijuana. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
8:20 PM – Officer responded to 19600 Blk. of Martin St. for a report of suspicious activity coming from complainant’s backyard. Officer checked the area, unable to locate.
September 6
3:50 AM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
12:33 PM – Officers responded to 15600 Blk. of CR 681 for an alarm. Officers spoke with homeowner who stated she accidently set off the alarm.
2:34 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of a male displaying a weapon at the store. Officers made contact with the male and advised him of to be more careful about concealing his pistol and about not being allowed to open carry inside the store.
2:52 PM – Officer responded to Valero for a report of a woman driving a van that was falling asleep at the wheel. Officer located the woman who stated she was very sleepy. A check on her license status revealed a suspended license. The woman agreed to park her vehicle and have her mother-in-law come and get her.
4:25 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 Access Rd. at McDonald St. to assist a stranded motorist.
7:30 PM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of StarCross Trail for a talk to an officer in reference to complainant’s dog being teased by the neighbor’s kids.
8:15 PM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. for a report of a disturbance. Complainant was having a discipline problem with his 17 YO son.
9:15 PM – Officer responded to John Lott Park for a talk to an officer in reference to the recovery of a musical instrument. The instrument was released back to the owner.
9:30 PM – Business requested extra patrol since their alarm system was down.
September 7
2:50 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 at FM 2790 for a report of property found. Officer arrived and retrieved the property.
9:00 AM – Officer responded to US Post Office for a report of a two vehicle crash.
10:01 AM – Officer responded to 15300 Blk. of Main St. to talk to an officer. Officer arrived to and found no one there.
11:05 AM – Officer responded to 15300 Blk. of Main St. for a talk to an officer. Officer arrived and no one was at scene. No apartment number was given.
11:29 AM – Officer responded to Pecan Grove Apts. for an alarm. Officer arrived and discovered the maintenance man and pest control man at the apartment.
11:29 AM – Officer responded to 15300 Blk. of Main St. for a talk to an officer. Officer arrived and spoke with complainant in reference to his AC was not working.
3:00 PM – Officer responded to 14500 Blk. of Chance Dr. for a talk to an officer in reference to a civil matter.
3:50 PM – Officers responded to 15100 Blk. of Magnolia St. for a report of a civil matter.
5:57 PM – Complainant talked to officer in reference to an unauthorized transaction on her credit card. Officer was later advised that the card was used with permission by a family friend.
11:38 PM – Officer responded to Sonic Drive-In for an alarm.
September 8
8:20 AM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Harbour St. to assist a homeowner that locked herself out of her residence.
9:05 AM – Officer responded to 19500 Blk. of IH 35 S for a report of a civil matter.
9:15 AM – Officer responded to Whataburger for a report of a two vehicle crash.
1:30 PM – Officer responded to Exxon for an alarm.
1:45 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to her daughter staying at her grandmother’s house. Complainant wanted to know what could be done. Officer suggested to pick her up as per family code, the daughter is still a juvenile.
9:55 PM – Officers initiated a sex crime investigation.
September 9
12:19 AM – Officer responded to Whataburger to unlock a vehicle.
9:57 AM – Officer responded to 16000 Blk. of LakeShore for a talk to an officer in reference to complainant’s son not wanting to go to the doctor’s.
11:35 AM – Officer responded to 18800 Blk. of N. Prairie St. for a talk to an officer in reference to property found.
12:33 PM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of D’Hanis St. for a talk to an officer in reference to suspicious circumstances that had recently occurred.
1:06 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a talk to an officer in reference to complainant seeing an elderly man escort a child approximately 4 years old to a Ford pickup. Officers searched the area for a pickup matching the description but was unable to locate. There had been no reports of a missing or abducted child.
1:52 PM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Main St. to unlock a vehicle.
1:55 PM – Officer responded to N. Somerset St. at Lytle-Somerset St. to assist the public with directions to the Trinity Baptist Church.
2:05 PM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of First St. for a talk to an officer in reference to her boyfriend’s mother having possession of her SSN, TXDL and bank card and would not return them to her. Complainant alleged she was assaulted but refused to cooperate with filing an assault report.
3:29 PM – Officer responded to 17900 Blk. of Rocky’s Circle for an alarm.
5:25 PM – Officer responded to John Lott Park for a talk to an officer in reference to shots fired. Shots were coming from dove hunters inside Bexar Co.
6:18 PM – Officer found property while preparing for shift. Officer turned property into evidence for safekeeping.
7:25 PM – Officers responded to 16000 Blk. of LakeShore Dr. for a report of loud music. Officers arrived and asked the homeowner to turn down the music.
September 10
5:24 AM – Complainant called the Police Station to report finding a stray dog at the Best Western wanting to turn in into Animal Control. Officer advised complainant to contact Animal Control during the morning hours to contact someone in the facility.
1:00 PM – Officer responded to 19000 Blk. of FM 2790 for a two vehicle crash.
1:50 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a hit & run on a parked vehicle.
4:00 PM – Officer responded to 18800 Blk. of N. Prairie St. for a report of a dead cat in front of complainant’s residence.
4:25 PM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Harbour St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a suicidal female. The female was transported to Southwest General Hospital.
10:23 PM – Officers responded to 15100 Blk. of Adams St. for an alarm.
