September 11
4:50 AM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at IH 35 to assist Atascosa Co. in searching of a vehicle. Officer was unable to locate.
8:40 AM – Officers responded to 16500 Blk. of Griffin Rd. to assist Lytle Vol. Fire Dept. with a fatality structure fire.
9:10 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and reported a stove that had been taken from a rental house by the previous tenant. Complainant requested extra patrols since it appeared as if a homeless person had been living on the property’s back porch.
1:20 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to report a possible sexual assault. Case under investigation.
2:25 PM – Officer initiated a sexual assault investigation.
9:37 AM – Officer responded to Wisdom Rd. for a report of an unknown person(s) burning trash. Officer searched the area, unable to locate anyone.
September 12
10:35 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 133 NB to assist Bexar Co. with a major accident. The driver was leaving the scene on foot and detained by Lytle PD units. The driver was found to be in possession of a prohibited weapon and turned over to Bexar Co. units.
3:24 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 131 SB for a report of a reckless driver. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
5:52 PM – Officer responded to 200 Blk. of Creek St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
6:00 PM – Officer responded to 18800 Blk. of Pine St. for a report of a loose dog. The dog was released back to the owner.
8:27 PM – Officer responded to N. Prairie St. and provided a courtesy ride to an adult male to the Chevron Gas Station.
8:52 PM – Business Check Officers responded to Machinery Auctioneer and located an open gate which lead to the side door being left open. Officers cleared the building and secured the area.
September 13
4:10 AM – Officer responded to Machinery Auctioneers and noted the building to be unsecure. Officer cleared the building and secured the area.
6:50 AM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for a reported motion alarm. Officer arrived and found the building to be secure.
8:35 AM – Officers responded to 15800 Blk. of Lake Breeze for a report of a vehicle on a resident’s property. Officers discovered an un-permitted pool and structure being constructed. Construction was stopped until Code Compliance Officer arrived.
9:45 AM – Officer responded to 14800 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. for a report of construction material that was stolen from the construction site. Total estimated value $2,100.
10:10 AM – Officers responded to Hurley Funeral Home and provided funeral escort.
4:10 PM – Officers responded to 16000 Blk. of Lake Shore Dr. to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
4:15 PM – Traffic stop on the 15000 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the driver being cited for Displaying the License Plate which belonged to Another Vehicle, No Driver’s License and No Insurance. A Texas LP was seized.
4:41 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 131 for a report of debris on the roadway. Officers were unable to locate.
5:30 PM – Officer responded to US Post Office for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers were unable to locate.
7:10 PM – Officer responded to 63300 Blk. of Diaz St. for extra patrol requested. Complainant reported hearing noises outside of complainant’s home between the hours of 9pm and midnight.
9:35 PM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for an alarm.
9:52 PM – Officer responded to 19100 Blk. of N. Prairie St. for a report of a suspicious person. Officer arrived and made contact with an individual working on a sprinkler/pump system.
September 14
4:32 AM – Officers responded to Lytle State Bank for an activated alarm. Officers checked the area, no evidence of criminal activity.
5:30 AM – Complainant called the Police Station to speak with an officer in reference to extra patrol.
8:50 AM – Officers responded to Lytle State Bank to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
10:05 AM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of Bank St. for an alarm.
10:35 AM – Officers responded to 19600 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a verbal disturbance.
2:49 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 SB Underpass at FM 2790 for a report of a welfare check on a male.
5:00 PM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Main St. for a two vehicle crash.
6:00 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a hit & run.
7:45 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to talk to an officer in reference to harassment.
September 15
10:45 AM – Officers responded to Hurley Funeral Home and provided funeral escort.
12:20 PM – Officer responded to 18000 Blk. of FM 2790 for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officer made contact with the driver who had ran out of gas. The owner agreed to remove the vehicle from the right of way.
4:31 PM – Complainant called the Police Station to report a minor accident that had occurred earlier at HEB Plus. Second party did not want to file a report but complainant wanted to notify the police on the accident.
4:37 PM – Complainant called the Police Station to file a Credit/Debit Card Abuse.
4:38 PM – Officer responded to Twin Liquors for a talk to an officer in reference to a concern about the sale of alcohol.
5:37 PM – Officers responded to 18000 Blk. of Lake Wind to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
7:17 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 S for a welfare check on a male walking north bound in the south bound lane. Officers were unable to locate.
September 16
1:00 AM – Office responded to Taco Bell for a report of credit card abuse.
6:05 AM – Officer responded to Dos Primos Restaurant for a report of a white Ford pick-up blocking two parking spaces, one being a handicap space relating to complainant’s business. Vehicle owner was located and removed the vehicle.
7:30 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a suspicious male walking the parking lot. Officer searched the area, the male is a known resident of Lytle.
8:28 AM – Officers responded to Days Inn for a welfare check on a female that was trying to hurt herself. Officer spoke with the female who denied the claim.
10:41 AM – Officer responded to Days Inn for a report of a verbal disturbance. Upon arrival, the second party had already departed.
12:04 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
12:14 PM – Officers responded to 19100 N. Somerset St. to talk to an officer in reference to cars parked on residents’ front yards. Officers spoke to resident and explained there was an event at the park and that it would be over soon.
4:25 PM – Officer responded to 63300 Blk. of Diaz St. for a report of a suspicious person. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
4:40 PM – Officer responded to Dollar General for a male soliciting on the property. The male was advised that he was not allowed to solicit without a permit.
6:07 PM – Officers responded to Valero to unlock a vehicle.
6:13 PM – Officers responded to Subway for a talk to an officer in reference to an ex-employee trespassing on the property. Officer was unable to locate the subject.
6:26 PM – Officers responded to 18600 Blk. of N. Prairie St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
8:00 PM – Officers conducted a follow-up investigation on an open case.
8:16 PM – Officers responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the resident who stated his juvenile son was not listening and disobeying him.
8:58 PM – Officer responded to Sonic Drive In ) for a report of a harassment phone call. Complainant stated she has been receiving phone calls at work from her ex-boyfriend’s mother and wanted to let the police to be aware of the situation.
9:12 PM – Officer responded to Subway for a report of an ex-employee trespassing the property. Subject left prior to officer’s arrival. Officer was unable to locate.
September 17
12:05 AM – Officer responded to CR 681 for a report of a natural death.
12:07 PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 E for a report of a Possible Intoxicated Driver. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
3:25 AM – Complainant talk to officer over the phone to report an assault. Officer advised to come by the office to report it in person.
8:51 AM – Officer responded to 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. for a report of a possible break in. Possible damage to doors from a prying instrument were noted, however, the marks appeared old and were observed the officer from a previous visit to this residence. Extra patrols requested.
10:13 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to report that she had been assaulted the day before at HEB C-Store by her boyfriend.
2:25 PM – Officer responded to behind Beall’s for a report of a female laying against the wooden fence behind Beall’s. Officer spoke with the female who stated she was traveling and had no destination in mind.
8:39 PM – Officer responded to Subway to talk to an officer in reference to an ex-employee with a criminal trespass warning in the store. Officer was unable to locate.
8:45 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a verbal disturbance. Officer made contact with one of the male suspects and was advised that he did not know who the other male party was.
