Lytle Police Report Sept. 9-15

Sept. 9
2:35 AM – Officers responded to IH 35 SB at Mile Marker 130 to assist Medina Co. with a vehicle on fire.
8:01 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a hit & run. A resident’s fence and utility pole was struck.
12:30 PM – Officer responded to 14800 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
12:47 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
5:27 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Food Pantry to assist Atascosa EMS with a female that “passed out”.
6:00 PM – Officers responded to 15200 Blk. of Hester St. for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
11:01 PM – Officer responded to Hwy. 132 at Bexar Co. Line to assist Atascosa Co. with a suspicious vehicle.
11:50 PM – Utility Problem Officer responded to Lytle Public Work Yard / Water Tower for a report of a water leak coming from the water tower. Lytle Public Work’s Director was notified.
Sept. 10
12:15 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to assist Atascosa EMS with a family member being aggressive.
5:05 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a truck tractor vs. pole crash. No injuries were reported.
8:10 AM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to vehicles passing the stopped school bus on Main St. at Lytle Apartments. Extra patrols requested.
8:25 AM – Extra patrols were requested on Juarez St. due to suspicious activity.
8:49 AM – Officer responded to Diamond S Building for a report of a civil matter – property dispute.
9:14 AM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to her estranged husband possibly involved in illegal gambling. Officer advised that alleged offences were out of the jurisdiction of Lytle PD and the complainant would need to contact the appropriate agency.
9:45 AM – Officer received information that a resident requested extra patrols on 15200 Blk. of Mesquite St. due to the resident’s 90 year old sister-in-law being in the hospital.
10:31 AM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a natural death.
12:20 PM – Officers responded to Pecan Grove Apartments for a report of a welfare check on complainant’s daughter. Officer made contact with the daughter and notified the mother she was okay.
2:20 PM – Officer responded to the Post Office to unlock a vehicle.
3:56 PM – A 20-year-old female subject and a 41-year-old female subject were both arrested for having a Warrant out of Lytle PD for Assault Bodily Injury. Both were transported to Atascosa Co. Jail. The warrants stemmed from an incident at HEB a couple months back, both suspects were scheduled to turn themselves in.
6:55 PM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Houston St. for a report of a civil matter – landlord/tenant dispute.
7:00 PM – Officer received a call in regards to giving a juvenile a courtesy ride home. Upon officer’s arrival at the Lytle Public Library, the mother had arrived to pick up the juvenile.
7:10 PM – Officer responded to Freeway Insurance for a report of an alarm. Upon arrival, it was discovered all was secure.
11:50 PM – Officer responded to Lytle High School and made contact with a suspicious individual.
Sept. 11
10:24 AM – Officers responded to Lytle Apartments for a report of a civil matter – landlord/tenant dispute.
12:18 PM – Officer responded to 17200 Blk. of FM 2790 N for a report of a contractor who hit a natural gas line while digging.
1:26 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock vehicle.
Sept. 12
12:05 AM – Officer responded to 192000 Blk. of First St. for a report of a domestic disturbance between a husband and wife. A 58-year-old male subject was arrested for Terroristic Threat – Family Member. Subject was transported to Medina Co. Jail.
1:02 AM – Officer responded to Kirks Welding for a report of an assault. Case under investigation.
11:58 AM – Officers responded to Main St. near Cortez St. for a report of suspicious person, possibly on drugs, entering a neighbor’s house. Complainant requested a welfare check at the residence. Officers spoke with a female who stated no one had entered the residence. Officers searched the property, unable to locate anyone.
12:19 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a minor accident between a CPS vehicle and trailer being towed by a Ram 3500. No damage to either vehicle. Report requested for documentation purposes.
10:02 AM – Officer responded to 19500 Blk. of Florence St. and talked to complainant in reference to an APS case.
2:46 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a two vehicle crash.
3:35 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Elementary School for a report of a two vehicle crash.
9:08 PM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
Sept. 13
2:56 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 at mile marker 132 to assist a CMV which was disabled in the roadway.
5:08 PM – Officer responded to the Lytle Nursing Home for a Hospice Death.
10:44 PM – Officer responded to the 17900 Blk. of Rocky’s Circle in reference to a suspicious vehicle.
Sept. 14
12:38 AM – Officer responded to the US Renal Care for an alarm.
7:56 AM – Officer responded to the 19700 Blk. of Office Street for a civil matter.
11:16 AM – Officer responded to the 15300 Blk. of Main Street to assist a motorist with a vehicle lockout.
2:30 PM – Officer met with a complainant in regards to a dispute with a neighbor.
3:53 PM – Officer responded to the H-E-B C Store a minor vehicle collision.
8:30 PM – Officer met with a complainant in regards to a theft report that was previously filed with the department.
Sept. 15
12:02 AM – Officer responded to the 18700 Blk. of N. Prairie for loud music.
1:34 AM – Officers responded to the 18700 Blk. of N. Prairie for loud music.
2:45 AM – Officer responded to assist the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department with a disturbance in the Royal Oaks Subdivision.
3:01 AM – Officers responded to the 19600 Blk. of Bruce Street for a suspicious person.
3:24 AM – Officer responded to Hidalgo Street for a dogs barking all over the neighborhood. The complainant suspected a prowler was in the area.
3:45 AM – Officer assisted the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Department with a landing zone for Airlife at the Rossville Community Center on FM 2504.
5:15 AM – Officer located a suspicious abandoned vehicle at a business in the 19200 Blk. of N. Somerset Street.
11:33 AM – Officer responded to the 15000 Blk. of Harbour Street for a disturbance between 2 individuals. An initial report was generated and more information is required.
1:16 PM – Officer responded to the Little Caesars for a minor vehicle collision. No injuries were reported.
1:18 PM – Officer responded to H-E-B C Store for a report of known shoplifter in the store. The suspect departed prior to the officer’s arrival.
3:13 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 MM 131 to assist Lytle VFD with a grass fire.
5:16 PM – Officer responded to the 19600 Blk. of Gray Street for an activated carbon monoxide alarm.
4:34PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 @ IH 35 N. Access Road for a domestic disturbance on the roadside. The alleged suspect departed prior to the officer’s arrival. Case under investigation.
5:21 PM – Officer responded to a report of a person who fell at the gas pumps, upon arrival the officer was unable to locate the suspect.
