Lytle Police Report Sept. 6-12

Sept. 6
3:13 AM – Officers responded to Main St. at N Prairie St. for a report of a suspicious male in the area. Officers made contact with a subject who stated he was out for a walk.
3:46 AM – Officer noticed a male walking on the shoulder by Cabinet Creations. Officer made contact with the male who stated he was walking from San Antonio to Hondo to get his medications from the hospital there. He was provided a courtesy ride to Castroville.
8:05 AM – Officer responded to Bad Vibes Studio for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
9:44 AM – Officers responded to Hacienda Jaliscience for a report of an alarm. The front door was not locked, and a customer opened the door setting off the alarm.
1:50 PM – Officer conducted a follow-up investigation on an open case.
3:05 PM – Officer responded to Yumm #10 for a report of a reckless driver. The driver was sleepy and stopped to get a drink and fuel up.
3:25 PM – Officer responded to 15300 Blk. of Newton St. to unlock a vehicle.
5:02 PM – Officer responded to the Lytle Nursing Home for a report of a burglary of a vehicle. The male suspect was seen running away from the area wearing blue jeans and no shirt. The complainant stated a pair of $50 sunglasses were taken from the vehicle.
7:10 PM – Officers responded to the Lytle Nursing Home for a report of a suspect matching the description of a suspect of the burglary of a vehicle from earlier in the day. A 25-year-old male subject was arrested for Burglary of a Vehicle related to an earlier incident. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
7:15 PM – Officer responded to the 4200 Blk. of IH 35 S for a report of a male subject who threatened to harm himself via telephone call to his wife. Officer made contact with the subject who stated he made no such threat and his wife is putting him through a child custody battle.
10:20 PM – Coming back from the jail, officers were waived down by a motorist in the 9000 Blk. of FM 476 in Poteet, TX. Officers stood by until a deputy arrived.
Sept. 7
7:05 PM – Officer responded to the 19300 Blk. of S Somerset St for a report of a Trump flag being taken off the property. Officer arrived and made contact with the complainant who stated the banner had been taken off the pole and thrown on the street. Extra patrol requested.
7:13 PM – Officer responded to the Lytle HS for a report of a two-vehicle crash.
8:45 PM – Officer responded to the CVS Pharmacy for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
10:53 PM – Traffic stop at McDonald St. and Railroad St. resulted in the arrest of a 58-year-old male subject Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 1g-4g. The vehicle was impounded, and the subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
Sept. 8
6:40 AM – Officer responded to Quail Run to assist Atascosa Co. with a suspicious vehicle.
1:22 PM – Officer responded to the 17900 blk. of Lake Meadow Dr. for a residential alarm.
2:51 PM – Officer spoke with a complainant via telephone in reference to an accident
7:11 PM – Responded to a verbal Disturbance in the 18800 blk. of Pine St. and issued a Trespass Notice.
Sept. 9
1:00 AM – Observed a female walking on FM 2790 N. & gave the female a ride to the HEB C-Store
:57 AM – Officers responded to Wisdom Rd. & Ball Rd. and provided a courtesy ride to the male’s home.
8:30 AM – Officer responded to the Camino Real Crisis Center for a report of 2 stolen catalytic converters.
9:10 AM – Officers responded to the 19800 blk. of Office St. for a welfare check.
9:45 AM – Officers provided a funeral escort for Hurley’s Funeral Home.
11:59 AM – Officer responded to 15000 blk. Gate St. for a 911 hang-up.
3:00 PM – Officers responded to the Oak Creek Homes to assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office with a female on the property who had been issued a criminal trespass notice.
4:44 PM – Officer responded to the HEB Plus for a 2 vehicle accident.
5:25 PM – Officer responded to the 14600 blk. Railroad St. for a 2 vehicle accident.
6:22 PM – Officer responded to the 18500 blk. FM 2790 to assist a resident locked out of her home.
10:26 PM – Officers responded to FM 3175 & IH 35 to check on 2 individuals. Everything was okay.
10:22 PM – Responded to Lytle-Somerset St. & Bruce St. for a report of loud music, unable to locate.
11:07 PM – Officers made a traffic stop at Diaz St. & Main St. that resulted in the arrest of a 36-year-old female subject for possession of a Controlled Substance PG1 < 1G. The subject was taken to the Medina County Jail.
Sept. 10
4:31 AM – Officer responded to the 15300 blk. of Houston St. for a Natural Death.
6:55 AM – Officer observed while on patrol a missing stop sign at Lytle-Somerset St. & Lazy J St.
10:25 AM – Officer responded to the 15300 blk. of Main St. for a verbal disturbance.
12:19 PM – Officer responded to the Pumphouse Carwash for a 2 vehicle minor accident.
12:40 PM – Responded to the 15000 blk. of Harbour St. to assist with a resident locked out of her home.
1:40 PM – Dispatched to the 15000 blk. of Main St. to assist a 75-year-old female with diminishing mental capabilities. The female was given a courtesy ride to her residence. The female’s family assisted when arriving at her home.
9:13 PM – Officers responded to the HEB C-Store for a man taking pictures.
Sept. 11
12:44 AM – Officers unlocked a vehicle at the HEB Plus.
1:30 AM – Responded to the Pumphouse Carwash for a disturbance.
7:15 AM – Officers attended the Lytle VFW 9-11 Memorial Ceremony @ the Lytle Veterans Park.
8:52 AM – Officer responded to Wisdom Rd. & Lake St. for a loose goat.
11:37 AM – Officers responded to the 15600 blk. Of CR 681 for a welfare check on a male.
2:25 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 to assist MCSO with locating a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was not located.
12:58 PM – Officer dispatched to the 15400 blk. of Main St. for a welfare check.
1:34 PM – Officer responded to FM 2790 & IH 35 access rd. for a welfare check on a male & female walking.
2:45 PM – Officer responded while on patrol, officer observed a large bag and box of trash in the roadway on Main St. @ Priest Blvd.
4:55 PM – Officer responded to the Diamond S Buildings for a report of a stolen catalytic converter valued at $250.00. The theft occurred between 09/04/2021 – 09/11/2021.
5:50 PM – Officer responded to the HEB Plus for a report of a stolen cell phone. Incident occurred a week or so prior.
11:14 PM – Officers responded for a suspicious vehicle that was reported in the 19500 blk. of Martin St.
Sept. 12
2:30 AM – Officers responded to the HEB C-Store to assist Texas DPS with locating a possible crash.
7:55 AM – Officer received a call at the PD in reference to sheep on Live Oak St. across from the John Lott Park. Animal Control was contacted.
8:25 AM – Officer responded to Main St. & Somerset St. to assist a disabled vehicle.
8:57 AM – Officer received a phone call at the PD from the owners of the loose livestock asking for the animal’s location.
9:11 AM – Officer received a phone call at the PD in reference to a stolen vehicle earlier in the day in San Antonio. The suspects used his credit card in the 3800 block of SH 132. Caller was referred to MCSO.
12:35 PM – Officer received a phone call while at the PD in reference to suspicious activity at the Yumm #10.
3:20 PM – Officer responded to the Lytle Nursing Home for a vehicle unlock.
7:29 PM – Officers responded to the 19300 blk. McDonald Street for a report of a man waving a long gun.
