Nov. 29
1:11 AM – Officers responded to the 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. A 19-year-old male subject was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and transported to the Atascosa County Jail. He took a family member’s vehicle without permission.
9:55 AM – Best Western Plus Officer responded for a report of criminal mischief (attempted break in of a 2019 Dodge Ram)
10:36 AM – HEB C-Store Officer responded for a suspicious black Honda. Everything was okay.
10:49 AM – Dollar General Officers responded for a report of a theft. The suspects had fled before the officer’s arrival.
12:45 PM – 17900 Blk. Wisdom Rd. Officer received a call for a welfare check on a child. No one was at the residence.
3:45 PM – HEB Plus Officer conducted a follow up to receive a statement from a witness.
4:23 PM – HEB Plus Officer was notified of a vehicle repossession.
4:27 PM – Officer received a report of a stolen bicycle valued at $297.68.
6:07 PM – 15900 Blk. Cr. 681 Officers responded for a welfare check. A 66-year-old male was discovered deceased.
7:45 PM – Assist Atascosa County Deputy with a Found Runaway Officer assisted until the parents arrived at the Lytle PD to pick up the juvenile.
10:39 PM – HEB Plus Officers responded for the theft of a $50.00 car battery.
Nov. 30
12:31 AM – S. Benton @ Mesquite St. Officer conducted a traffic stop that resulted in the discovery of an active Bexar County Warrant. It was later learned that Bexar County made a mistake, and the male was released.
8:30 AM – Officer cited and released a male subject for a Class C Misdemeanor Theft < $100 that occurred at the HEB Plus on 11/18/2021.
10:45 AM – HEB Plus Officer received a call from the store of a theft that occurred earlier in the morning for $300.00 worth of meat and seafood.
1:55 PM – 18500 N. Benton St. Officer responded for the theft of 2 debit/credit cards from a vehicle.
2:17 PM – Assist DPS with a Fatality Accident – IH 35 NB @ MM 131 Assist DPS with traffic control.
2:45 PM – Atascosa Health Center Officer responded for a report of an unruly customer. No offense occurred.
6:15 PM – HEB Plus Officer responded for a report of a male that wanted to hurt himself. It was found the man was okay.
6:30 PM – 15000 Blk. Main St. Officer responded to a 1 vehicle crash that pulled down a powerline and telephone line.
7:44 PM – 15200 Blk. Oak St. Verbal disturbance between and ex-husband and ex-wife.
10:59 PM – 20000 Blk. Hyde Park Officers responded to a family verbal disturbance. The complainant left for the night.
11:42 PM – Pirates Express Officers responded to an active alarm. The business was secure.
Dec. 1
7:00 AM – Officer responded to FM 2790 N. to look for a gold ford F-150 that fled the scene of an accident in La Coste. The vehicle was unable to be located.
7:05 AM – Suspicious Person – 18200 Blk. of Ball Rd. Officer responded and located the man sitting on a porch. The male was given a courtesy ride to Twin Lakes.
12:00 PM – Funeral Escort Officers provided an escort to the Lytle Community Cemetery.
1:30 PM – Community Natl. Bank Officers responded for a deer stuck in the fence. Officers were able to free the deer.
7:14 PM – HEB Plus Officers responded for a report of a suspicious package in the parking lot.
Dec. 2
6:32 AM – Officers dispatched to Naeglin Rd. & FM 3175 for a report of a suspicious person. Officers were unable to locate the person.
3:30 PM – Camino Real Officers responded for a consumer that fled the facility. The consumer was located and was transported to the hospital by his wife.
8:03 PM – Railhead Café Officers responded for a theft from a vehicle. A red bag with tools was stolen.
10:58 PM – Animal Problem – 16000 Blk. White Cap Rd. Officers responded to a noise in the attic. Everything was okay and nothing was located.
11:45 PM – Pirates Express Officers responded to an active alarm. The business was secure.
Dec. 3
12:42 PM – Officer responded to the Love’s Travel Center for a report of a female in the highway.
12:51 AM – Officer located an open garage door on Rocky’s Circle, an attempt was made to locate the resident.
9:30 AM – Officer spoke to a caller said someone struck her vehicle and fled the scene on 12/02/2021.
10:35 AM – 14900 Blk. Harbour St. Officer responded for a FedEx package delivered to the wrong location.
10:55 AM – Officers responded to the St. Andrews Catholic Church for an escort to the Lytle Community Cemetery.
11:30 AM – Train Blocking 3 Intersections Officer responded to Greenwood Rd. to speak to the engineer about blocking the road. The engineer said the train broke down and would start in less than 30 minutes.
3:30 PM – Vehicle Unlock – PC Bistro – 15000 Blk. Main St.
5:14 PM – 17900 Wisdom Rd. Officer responded to check on a juvenile male in a child custody battle. The boy lives full time with his custodial father at a different address.
5:35 PM – IH 35 @ McDonald St. Officers responded to a minor traffic accident.
5:50 PM – 18900 Blk. N. Prairie St. Officer responded for an ex removing items from his former residence.
6:02 PM – Railroad St. @ Bank St. Officers responded for a report of a man laying on the ground. Officers provided a courtesy ride to the man’s residence.
6:40 PM – 15000 Blk. Mesquite St. Officer responded to a verbal disturbance between a juvenile and her guardians.
9:30 PM – Lytle One-Stop Officers conducted a traffic stop that resulted in the vehicle being impounded for numerous traffic violations. The driver was cited and released.
9:56 PM – Napa Auto Parts – Officer responded to an active alarm. The business was secure.
Dec. 4
3:31 AM – 15000 Blk. Main St. Officer initiated a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of a 39-year-old male subject for an active Bexar County Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
5:58 AM – Coal Mine to City Limits Officer provided traffic control for church members walking down SH 132.
11:30 AM – Field Next to the Lytle Jr. High School Officer responded to a verbal disturbance between 2 females.
6:00 PM – 19000 Blk. Priest Blvd. Officers provided traffic control for the Lytle Annual Christmas Hayride.
Dec. 5
2:36 AM – Officer responded to assist with a missing juvenile. The juvenile was later located.
3:23 AM – Bill Millers Officer discovered an open door while conducting a business check. No signs of criminal activity. The front door and drive thru window were open.
6:10 PM – Complainant requested extra patrols @the Grand Somerset Apartments
3:45 PM – IH 35 @ Bexar County Line Officer assisted the deputy on a traffic stop.
6:45 PM – Fm 2790 @ IH 35 Officer responded for a report of a reckless Cadillac Escalade. The driver was not impaired but received citations for no driver’s license and no insurance.
7:19 PM – Coal Mine Park Officers responded for a report of a suspicious person. Everything was okay. The loud talking was a female yelling at her dog.
