Devine Police Report Nov. 26=Dec. 2

Nov. 26
12:33 AM – Officer assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office in the 100 block of 9th St. in reference to a male subject possibly on narcotics and threatening subjects with a knife. Officer made location and was unable to make contact.
8:06 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of Anderson Ave. reported a truck lock was tampered with sometime between Monday and Tuesday.
11:30 AM – Officer dispatched to the 500 block of Melinda Dr. in reference to a male family member on location. All was okay; male left location when asked.
1:08 PM – Officer dispatched to Walmart in reference to a semi truck parked on no-parking side. Truck moved; all was okay.
Nov. 27
4:16 AM – Officer dispatched to Rossville Rd. in reference to loud music coming from a residence. Contact was made with resident and the music was turned down.
8:50 AM – A stop sign in the 100 block of E. Herring Ave. was hit by an unknown vehicle. On call officer was notified; stop sign still standing but leaning against utility pole.

8:59 AM – Complainant in the 300 block of Mockingbird Ln. reported a Ford pickup was stolen overnight. Complainant advised vehicle was locked. Vehicle entered into TCIC/NCIC.
11:10 AM – Complainant advised that his tools were in truck that was stolen.
1:45 PM – Vehicle stopped in the 200 block of N. Transportation Dr. for a traffic violation. The male driver was cited for driving without a license and jailed for possession of marijuana greater than 2 oz. but less than 4 oz.
3:58 PM – Vehicle stopped in the 100 block of N. Teel Dr. for a traffic violation. The male driver was cited and released for driving without a license.
6:35 PM – Officer dispatched to IH-35 SB near mile marker 124 for a recliner in the roadway. Officer made location and removed it.
8:45 PM – Officer assisted DPS on a traffic stop on IH-35 SB near mile marker 122. Officer remained on scene as a cover unit.
10:40 PM – Officer assisted the MCSO with a tone out for a disturbance on CR 665. All was okay; parties separated.
11:43 PM – Report of yelling coming from residence in the 500 block of N. Bright Dr. Father and son advised all was okay.
Nov. 28
1:01 AM – Complainant in the 500 block of N. Bright Dr. advised a male subject was arguing with his son again. Officer didn’t initially hear anything but located the son two blocks away and he advised they had been arguing. Returned to location and the father left the residence for the evening.
2:27 AM – A male subject in the 600 block of Rossville Rd. was found to be in possession of .25 oz. of marijuana. Subject was transported to a hospital. Charges pending for evading and resisting arrest.
2:41 AM – Complainant in the 800 block of Flores Dr. advised he wanted area checked due to hearing noises outside and dogs barking.
2:24 PM – Officer dispatched to Walmart in reference to 18-wheelers blocking line of sight on Oakhill Dr. Officer advised drivers to relocate.
5:25 PM – Officer dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a large tarp in the road. Tarp moved off the roadway before officer made location.
11:36 PM – Officer observed an unoccupied white SUV in a parking lot in the 1300 block of Hwy. 173 N.
Nov. 29
12:13 PM – Complainant found a blue purse in the 500 block of Hickory Hwy.
12:20 PM – Officer dispatched to IH-35 SB in reference to a black semi-truck possibly involved in a hit-and-run; unable to locate.
1:16 PM – A female subject at Walmart was cited and released for theft.
Nov. 30
7:30 AM – A female subject in the 500 block of Gutierrez reported she was assaulted by another female subject. The female subject was arrested.
11:15 AM – Complainant informed PD that earlier in the day there was a bald white male in his late 50s driving a silver vehicle at the park acting strange. Complainant said he spoke to her about her son being cute. Complainant said the man was already gone but that she still wanted to report it.
6:45 PM – Officers dispatched to Rosewood in reference to a verbal disturbance between a male and female. Both separated before officers’ arrival.
9:46 PM – Officer dispatched to the 300 block of Hwy. 132 N. in reference to a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot; unable to locate.
Dec. 1
12:36 PM – Complainant on E. Hondo Ave. advised a family was sitting at the corner asking for money.
3:45 PM – Complainant reported smoke seen coming from area around the 300 block of S. Transportation Dr. Burning was located nearby and officer advised individual to extinguish fire; all was okay.
8:06 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of Lee Dr. reported smelling smoke in the area. Officer searched the area; unable to locate.
9:58 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Gutierrez stated a male subject was refusing to leave the property. Subject left prior to officer’s arrival.
Dec. 2
12:33 AM – Officers observed people on location in the 100 block of Dixon Dr. A female subject was dropping off a vehicle.
12:49 AM – Officers observed a vehicle with temporary tags with airbags deployed and heavy front end damage on IH-35 SB. Officer located where crash occurred; vehicle went off the roadway and through TxDot cable on dead end road. A wrecker company took possession of the vehicle and a hold was placed on it.
1:03 PM – Complainant in the 900 block of N. Teel Dr. reported a Uhaul truck parked out front of residence. Officer was canceled; driver was leaving a package.
2:08 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of W. Benton Ave. reported a broken shotgun inside a detached garage. Complainant will be taking inventory of items.
