Lytle Police Report March 11-17

March 11
3:30 PM – Officer responded to Whataburger for a report of a civil matter. Dispute over the sale of a vehicle.
4:32 PM – Complainant stop by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to a harassment.
5:20 PM – Officer responded to 15500 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a civil stand by. Complainant wanted to gather some belongings out of a residence.
6:20 PM – Officers responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a suspicious black SUV that had been parked at location for an unspecified time but the driver seemed to be slumped over or asleep. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
6:35 PM – Officers initiated an injury to a child case that occurred in another jurisdiction.
March 12
3:35 AM – Officer responded to US Renal Care for a report of an alarm. Officer spoke to employees who stated they used the passcode that was given to them. No criminal activity noted.
6:13 AM – Officer responded to 600 Blk. of Indian Sunset to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with a disturbance call.
8:20 AM – Officer responded to Machinery Auctioneers for a report of a commercial vehicle parked in a private parking lot blocking the area. The driver was advised to move.
8:28 AM – Officer assisted the public with fingerprints for employment purposes.
8:58 AM – Officers responded to Bobby’s Used Cars for a report of an unknown person who attempted to steal a 2001 Chevy from the car lot but was unsuccessful. Ignition was punched, no other damages done.
12:00 PM – Officers responded to HEB C-Store to assist a motorist who was having vehicle issues. The driver stated her husband was on his way to have the vehicle towed.
9:24 AM – Officers responded to Main St. for a report of a possible intoxicated driver. Officers located the vehicle and an elderly driver, all was fine.
11:48 AM – Officer responded to 1500 Blk. of Naegelin Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. with a report of a female being chased by a truck. Officer located the female who stated she had gotten into a disturbance with the subjects in the truck.
12:26 PM – Officers responded to 15100 Blk. of Magnolia St. and assisted a resident.
3:11 PM – Officers responded to 18400 Blk. of W FM 2790 S for a report of suspicious activity. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a male who stated he was there to do remodeling work on the home. The contractor was able to confirm story.
3:25 PM – Officers responded to CR 6710 at Lake View Dr. for a report of an electrical power line pole that looked like it was about to fall over. Officer stopped traffic through hazard zone and notified CPS Energy.
3:29 PM – Officers responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a subject trying to sell gold at the store. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
4:45 PM – Officer responded to Harbour St. and talked to complainant who requested extra patrol in the area due to alleged smoking of marijuana.
7:00 PM – Officers responded to 15200 Blk. of Hester St. for a follow-up on a case. Officers cited a 15 YO male juvenile for Disorderly Conduct at the John Lott Park on 2/25/19.
March 13
2:28 PM – Officer responded to 19300 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
March 14
1:00 PM – Officer responded to Machinery Auctioneers for a report of a stolen truck, a 2003 Ford F-250. On the burglary of vehicle, a battery was taken, a set of truck keys and an iPhone 6 was taken. And on the burglary of building a Snap-On Toolbox was taken.
5:48 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
5:50 PM – Complainant talked to officer in reference to receiving a phone call from IRS and/or local law enforcement who informed her that her social security number was suspended due to being compromised. According to caller, her ID was used to rent a vehicle that was stopped at the border with narcotics. The phone number on caller ID was Lytle PD phone number. The call was a phone scam.
9:00 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 131 NB for a report of a semi-trailer causing traffic hazard. Officer provided traffic control while the driver got the truck off the main roadway.
9:42 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 Access Rd. at Exit 131 SB for a report of a pot-hole causing a traffic hazard. Officer arrived and could not see anything that would cause a traffic hazard.
March 15
2:20 AM – Officers responded to Bealls P-Lot for a report of a suspicious vehicle that looked to be abandoned and the radio was missing. The vehicle was unlocked and appeared to be parked for a couple days. The radio appears to have been stolen. No complaint for the stolen property at this time. Officers secured the vehicle.
1:11 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 S at McDonald St. for a report of a stalled vehicle at intersection. Officers provided traffic control while the vehicle was towed off the roadway.
1:50 PM – While on patrol at Lake Breeze Dr. officers made contact with a male subject who was soliciting home security systems.
2:30 PM – Officers responded to Lytle Administration Building and found a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. No offense occurred.
2:55 PM – While on patrol on Hwy. 132 N, officers observed debris on the road that was causing a traffic hazard. Officers removed the debris off the roadway.
3:10 PM – While on patrol on Kensington Ct., officers observed a suspicious vehicle parked behind a house under construction. Upon investigation, officers found workers were in the back of the house doing construction work on the patio.
March 16
1:34 AM – Officer responded to 18800 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a neighbor who was playing loud music. Officer searched the area, unable to locate any loud music.
1:50 AM – While on patrol on N. Benton St. and Adams St. officer noticed a man riding a bicycle without a front headlight or rear red reflector. Officer stopped the man and identified him. Subject stated he was just riding around because he could not sleep.
3:50 AM – Traffic stop on 14600 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the officer seizing a small amount of marijuana from the driver. The driver was issued multiple citations and released.
11:15 AM – Officer responded to McDonald St. at Main St. and assisted a disabled motorist with a jumpstart.
2:05 PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at IH 35 N Access for a two vehicle crash.
3:10 PM – Officer responded to Pumphouse Carwash to unlock a vehicle.
4:00 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and reported that his vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle. The damage was noticed while getting a tire repaired at a local tire shop. The incident location and or suspect(s) are unknown.
7:02 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 S at Mile Marker 133 for a report of a reckless driver. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
11:02 PM – Officer responded to Priest St. at Main St. for a report of a land-line 911 hang-up call. Business was closed and no cars were present. Officer asked several people at surrounding businesses but no one said they called 911.
11:28 PM – Officer responded to 14800 Lytle-Somerset St. for a report of a theft of $500 in cash from complainant’s purse. Complainant had a 17 YO female and a 12 YO male helping her move into her apartment. Complainant stated she had returned from getting the children glasses of water and discovered both were gone and her purse had been moved.
March 17
5:24 AM – Officer responded to 14800 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. and conducted a welfare check.
9:00 AM – Officer conducted a welfare check on a stranded pedestrian at 19500 Blk. of McDonald St. The local Rays Taxi was contacted and a ride was provided.
9:25 AM – While on patrol at Best Western Plus officer located a door of a vehicle ajar. The owner accidentally left it open, nothing was missing.
10:45 AM – Officer responded to Taco Bell for a welfare check on a female sitting inside a vehicle. A family member made the scene and drove the female back to her residence.
12:40 PM – Office responded to 15000 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a pitbull causing a traffic hazard. Lytle Animal Control Officer arrived and took over scene.
3:55 PM – Officer responded to 18800 Blk. of N. Prairie St. for a two vehicle crash.
5:00 PM – Officer responded to Grand Somerset Apartments and attempted a welfare check on a resident.
5:41 PM – Officer responded to 18600 Blk. of Rolling Meadow to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with a warrant service. Officers were unable to locate.
7:45 PM – Officer responded to Grand Somerset Apartments and conducted a welfare check on a resident.
8:20 PM – Officer responded First St. for a report of a man causing a disturbance. Officer spoke with property owner who stated a resident was outside playing loud music and screaming. Officer spoke with resident who stated he would be quiet and remain inside for the evening.
