Lytle Police Report June 3-9

June 3
1:45 AM – Officers responded to Best Western Plus to assist Atascosa EMS with a male patient who stopped breathing while sleeping.
6:40 AM – Officer responded to 14600 Blk. of Main St. for a welfare check on a 911 hang up call. Officer arrived and spoke with a man who stated no one called. All was secure.
7:30 AM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Main St. for a report of an alarm. Officer found the residence secure.
11:40 AM – Officers responded to Cabinet Creations and talked to complainant in reference to a vehicle fuel fill line with a cut in it. It is unknown when it occurred.
June 4
1:02 AM – Officer responded to Lynda’s Trade Market Apartments for a report of a verbal disturbance. After speaking with both parties, they agreed to go inside and go to bed.
5:49 AM – Officer responded to The Washateria for a report of an alarm. The owner had opened the back door and forgot to put in the security code for the alarm.
7:58 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Dental for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
10:24 AM – Officer responded to Railroad St. at Bank St. for a report of two suspicious males in the area. Officer located both males; all was fine.
11:33 AM – Officer responded to Norvell St. for a report of 2 solicitors in the area. Officer located 2 females selling life insurance. Officer advised both they needed a city permit, subjects departed.
2:27 PM – Officer responded to John Lott Park for a report of a juvenile female that caused a disturbance at her residence and left on foot to the park and was possibly going to harm herself. Officer made contact with the juvenile who was upset but did not want to harm herself. The juvenile was taken to the Police Station where her father picked her up.
5:00 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
8:48 PM – Officer responded to 63300 Blk. of Juarez St. for a report of a natural death.
June 5
2:45 AM – While on patrol at Community National Bank officer noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in front of the bank. Officer discovered a female driver who stated had just finished work and stopped to take a nap. The female was advised to move to the park and ride area.
10:15 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 NB at FM 2790 Overpass to assist a motorist with a flat tire change.
11:30 AM – Officers responded to 15100 Blk. of Adams St. for a report of noises coming from inside complainant’s residence. Officers cleared the residence.
11:52 AM – Officers responded to IH 35 NB Frontage at FM 3175 for a report of a two vehicle crash.
2:30 PM – Officers responded to Hwy. 132 South of the city to assist with a funeral escort.
4:30 PM – Officer responded to Taqueria Jalisco and talked to complainant in reference to complainant needing a diesel mechanic. The driver was advised the closest service diesel repair but complainant opted to attempt making it to the Love’s in Natalia.
5:45 PM – Traffic stop at 15300 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the arrest of a 50-year-old female subject for a Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 < 4g – 200g. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
9:36 PM – Officer responded to Beall’s for a report a theft from a vehicle. An unknown person(s) broke into a pick-up truck and stole the radio.
10:05 PM – Officer responded to Best Western Plus for a report of a group of 5 teenagers at the hotel causing a disturbance. The manager stated the teens fled after he threatened to call the police.
10:20 PM – Officer was flagged down in the HEB Plus P-Lot and talked to complainant who stated had been approached by a man possibly trying to involve her in human trafficking. Officer searched the area, unable to locate anyone.
10:36 PM – Officer met with complainant at the Police Station and talked to complainant in reference to having struck a deer on Hwy. 132.
June 6
2:22 AM – Officer responded to Dr. Carter Dental for a report of 911 hang up call. Officer checked the building and found all doors and windows locked and no cars in the parking area.
7:30 AM – Officers responded to 3000 Box House Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. with a disturbance.
9:38 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and filed a report in regards to a civil matter – child custody.
10:27 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station in regards to several checks that had been cashed on 6/3/19 at three different banks without complainant’s authorization. Total amount lost was $2,790.
1:06 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to suspicious circumstances involving a fuel line that was tampered with according to complainant’s mechanic.
2:00 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to filling out a non-prosecution affidavit.
7:05 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to report that his 2004 Ford F250 was stolen from the TXDOT Park & Ride across the Lytle State Bank sometime between 7am and 7pm today. The vehicle was recovered the next day.
7:21 PM – Officer responded to Twin Liquors for a report of a two vehicle crash.
7:37 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
8:58 PM – Officer responded to El Bufalo Pawn for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
9:07 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a reckless driver, possibly intoxicated driver, leaving the store. Officer was unable to locate any reckless driver in the area.
10:36 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of 2 men panhandling and bothering customers. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
10:44 PM – Officer responded to Bealls for a report of a young woman who stated she had been abandoned by a friend. Officer provided a courtesy ride.
11:05 PM – Officer made contact with a man who appeared to be sleeping on the sidewalk by Taco Bell. Officer identified the subject who stated he was just resting and smoking a cigar.
June 7
3:40 AM – Contact with a man who had just pulled into the Valero resulted in the arrest of a 39-year-old male subject for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
7:01 AM – Officer responded to Lazy J Trail for a report of a man sleeping on the ground by the fence. Officer made contact with the individual who stated he was just resting while waiting for a friend to pick him up.
7:45 AM – Officer responded to 14400 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
9:25 AM – Officer received a call from Atascosa Co. Investigator in regards to the recovery of the 2004 Ford F250 that had been stolen the prior day from TXDOT Park & Ride across from Lytle State Bank. The vehicle was recovered off of FM 3175 on Box House Rd.
9:50 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and filed a report in regards to a civil matter – child custody.
10:45 AM – Officers responded to US Renal Care to unlock a vehicle.
12:47 PM – Officers responded to 14900 Blk. of StarCross Trail for a report of an alarm. Upon arrival, bystanders reported a male without a shirt was seen at the residence just prior to the alarm going off. A subject was located and questioned; the subject was eventually given a ride.
2:10 PM – Officers responded to FM 476 at FM 3175 to assist Atascosa Co. with a burglary in progress that resulted in a pursuit. The pursuit was terminated on Hwy. 16 at Loop 1604.
6:00 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and assisted the public with fingerprints.
6:10 PM – Officer responded to Bill Miller BBQ for a report of a male pointing a gun at another male. Officer made contact with the males and it was determined to be a toy gun.
9:55 PM – Officer responded to 16000 Blk. of CR 681 and assisted Lytle Vol. Fire Dept. with a fire.
9:43 PM – Traffic stop at 15000 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the arrest of a 19-year-old male subject for having a Warrant out of Atascosa Co. for the Original Charge of Theft $100 – $750. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
June 8
9:28 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and filed a report in regards to a civil matter – child custody.
11:57 AM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to her estranged husband contacting her via telephone when he is only supposed to contact her via an app.
1:41 PM – Officer responded to First Klass Cleaners for a report of a suspicious subject asking for money. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
3:35 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a small kitten found in the parking lot. Officer contacted Animal Control who took custody of it.
June 9
12:10 AM – Officer responded to Little Red School House for a report of suspicious activity. Officer arrived and found all doors locked and fences secured.
1:27 PM – Officer responded to 1000 Blk. of Blue Quail Dr. to assist Atascosa Co. with an unknown individual who entered a property.
9:30 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and filed a report in regards to a civil matter – child custody.
4:25 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to a video regarding his estranged wife and her discipline of the kids.
5:41 PM – Officer responded to 18000 Blk. of Lake Wind Dr. for welfare check on complainant’s kids. Officer attempted to make contact but there was no answer at the residence.
7:20 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus and talked to officer in reference to a juvenile female that attempted to take $18.96 of unpaid merchandise. No charges were filed; the juvenile was released to her mother.
8:27 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a theft from the property. Officer was unable to make contact with the complainant at residence. Complainant never contacted the Police Station for the rest of the night.
