Lytle Police Report June 12-18

June 12
1:38 PM – Civilian Auxiliary responded to Quicksilver Automotive to unlock a vehicle.
2:19 PM – Officers responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a disturbance at the fuel pumps. Officer located a woman who stated another woman begin yelling at her and cursing at her children and offered to fight with her. Other party had left the area prior to officer’s arrival.
4:12 PM – Officer responded to Chevron for a report of a civil matter – vehicle repairs.
7:33 PM – Officer responded to Best Western Plus for a report of costume jewelry taken from a hotel room. Officer recovered the items and returned them to the owner. No criminal charges filed. (Value of jewelry was $5)
8:10 PM – Officer responded to Valero for a report of an intoxicated driver. Officer checked the area, unable to locate.
8:20 PM – Officers responded to Diaz St. for a report of a two-vehicle crash. The 47-year-old male driver was arrested for DWI. Subject was transported to Medina Co. Jail.
8:32 PM – Officer responded to Lake St. at Wisdom St. for a report of an intoxicated person. Officer made contact with a known male who appeared to be intoxicated but has a condition that displays poor body control. All was ok.
11:40 PM – Officer responded to Sun Loan for a report of an alarm.
11:35 PM – Officer observed an abandoned vehicle at 19800 Blk. of IH 35 N. Officer found a note on the vehicle that stated it broke down and will be picked up the following morning.
June 13
11:29 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
5:00 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
9:58 PM – Officer responded to Laredo St. at Somerset St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle driving slow in the area. Officer checked the area, unable to locate.
11:50 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 128 to assist TX DPS with a one-vehicle accident.
June 14
6:30 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a dog that keeps bringing items to complainant’s yard and tearing up the trash. Officer informed complainant that animal control will be notified of the situation.
7:10 AM – Officer responded to John Lott Park for a report of damage to the gender signage on the restrooms. (Damage was estimated at $200)
10:15 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to report she was being followed in her vehicle by a silver 4-door sedan two days prior.
11:20 AM – Officers provided funeral escort from south city limits on Main St. to north city limits on Railroad St.
12:59 PM – Officers responded to Main St. at Cortez St. for a welfare check on a man sleeping under a tree. Officers made contact with the male who stated he was homeless and was walking to Laredo but needed to take a nap.
8:08 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a welfare check on an elderly female asking for rides. Officers made contact with the female who stated she had a ride coming.
9:00 PM – Officers responded to Ray’s Taxi for a report of a civil matter – landlord / tenant dispute.
9:34 PM – Officers responded to 19100 Blk. of N. Somerset St. for a report of a hit & run.
10:12 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 S at Rest Area to assist Medina Co. with a major accident. While en route, officers were cancelled.
11:57 PM – Officers responded to 15300 Blk. of Cottage St. for a report of an alarm.
June 15
6:56 AM – Officer responded to Camino Real for an alarm.
7:55 AM – Officer responded to 18500 Blk. of Live Oak St. for a report of two dogs that are being allowed to run at large every night and harassing complainant’s llama.
8:38 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Family Practice for a report of a male subject who was on the property and he had previously been told to never return. Officer spoke with subject and advised him to not go back to the property.
10:10 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a man parked in a handicap spot drinking alcohol. Officer located the male who denied drinking. The 40-year-old subject was cited for a Parked in Disabled Spot (No Placard/No LP) and released.
3:21 PM – Officer responded to 14800 Blk. of Adams St. for a report of two young boys who knocked on complainant’s door asking for a ride. Officer was unable to locate.
7:30 PM – Officers responded to Cricket Store for a report of a theft of a wallet.
June 16
6:12 AM – Officer responded to Quicksilver Automotive for an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
9:23 AM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a mailbox that had been struck by a vehicle.
11:10 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a two-vehicle crash.
11:39 AM – Officer responded to Good Vibe Studio for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
11:05 PM – Officer responded to Quicksilver Automotive for a report of an alarm. Officer found building to be secure.
June 17
1:50 PM – Officer responded to Lytle High School for a fire alarm. False report, key holder arrived on scene.
4:35 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Veterinary Clinic for a report of an alarm. Officer found building to be secure.
4:45 PM – Officer responded to 15700 Blk. of Main St. to unlock a vehicle.
9:50 PM – Officers responded to Wisdom Rd. at Ball Rd. for a welfare check on a male wearing black clothing standing in the roadway. Officers were unable to locate.
June 18
3:00 AM – Traffic stop at 15000 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the arrest of a 30-year-old female subject for Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving and Possession of Marijuana < 2oz. Subject was also cited for No Insurance, Driving While License Invalid and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Subject was transported to Medina Co. Jail.
8:14 AM – Officer responded to 18000 Blk. of FM 2790 N for a report of an unknown person(s) who entered an unsecured residence being remodeled and stole a coil of copper wire and a spool of electrical wire. Total estimated loss $800.
12:20 PM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Bruce St. for a report of a trespass at complainant’s residence. A criminal trespass notice was issued.
3:17 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to a civil matter – child custody.
4:13 PM – Officer responded to John Lott Park for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
4:27 PM – Officer responded to CR 6851 at CR 6850 to assist Lytle Vol. Fire Dept. and Natalia Fire Dept. with a grass fire in the area.
