Lytle Police Report July 5-11

July 5
12:55 AM – Officers responded to Bad Vibz for a report of an alarm. Officers found the building to be secure.
11:10 AM – Complainant called the Police Station and reported her 17 YO daughter as missing. The 17 YO was last seen in San Antonio with her boyfriend. Complainant was referred to San Antonio PD due to jurisdiction.
1:11 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 at MM 134 SB to assist with traffic control and changing a tire.
3:10 PM – Officers responded to 18300 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of an alarm.
7:20 PM – Officers responded to Lytle Veterinary Clinic for a report of an alarm. The clinic was experiencing an outage.
10:20 PM – Officers responded to Hwy. 132 at FM 2790 N to assist with traffic control while motorist was changing a tire.
10:56 PM – While on patrol at Hwy. 132 and Priest Blvd. officers noticed a woman walking on the side of the road. Officers provided the woman a courtesy ride to Benton City Rd.
July 6
12:13 AM – Officers responded to El Bufalo Pawn for a report of an alarm. Officers found the building to be secure.
1:56 AM – Officers responded to Bill Millers BBQ for a report of an alarm. Officers found the building to be secure.
8:07 AM – Officer responded to Tots to Teens for a report of a panic alarm. Upon arrival, all was okay. The employees stated they were having problems with the alarm system.
8:15 AM – Officer responded to Tots to Teens for a report of a fire alarm. The employees stated they were still having issues with the alarm systems.
11:50 AM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a limb that fell from a large mesquite tree striking the rear of the cab on the right side of a pickup.
12:58 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 NB Access Rd. for a report of a reckless driver. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
1:23 PM – Officer responded to 63300 Blk. of Juarez St. to assist Atascosa EMS with an uncooperative patient.
3:05 PM – Officers responded to 15100 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of a family disturbance.
6:00 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer about a dispute between the complainant and a roommate.
6:43 PM – Officers attempted to stop a stolen 2004 white F350 Ford in the 14800 Blk. of Railroad St. The truck driven by an unknown female diver failed to stop and led the officers on a pursuit. The vehicle stopped at a residence before the driver bailed out of the vehicle at 14300 Blk. of Railroad St. behind the residence. Officers were unable to locate the driver.
8:55 PM – Officers responded to 19000 Blk. of N Prairie St. for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
11:32 PM – Officer responded to Pirate Express for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
July 7
10:21 AM – Officer responded to Whataburger to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with looking for a runaway female. Officer was unable to locate.
11:11 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Main St. for an talked to complainant about a fraud on complainant’s debit card. The complainant alleges a skimmer is being used at a gas station and his debit card was used at Harbor Freight for $398.
12:33 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer and reported that last Friday on 7/2/21, she was followed by a person after leaving the HEB Plus and wanted it documented.
1:20 PM – Officer responded to US Post Office for a report of a two vehicle crash.
4:20 PM – Officer responded to 19600 Blk. of S Benton St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle passing by the residence numerous times before a while male got out of the vehicle and attempted to steal lawn chairs on the driveway of the residence. The male observed the owner of the home in the living room and fled back to his vehicle.
5:16 PM – Officers responded to Little Caesar’s P-Lot for a report of an active disturbance between a male and a female. A 32-year-old male subject was arrested for Assault Bodily Injury – Family Member. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
10:31 PM – Officer responded to Main St. at Davis St. for a report of suspicious activity involving doorbells being rung.
July 8
6:44 AM – Officers responded to 19400 Blk. of Blume Dr. to assist Atascosa EMS to make entry to a home. An 88 YO female resident’s life alert was activated and she failed to answer the phone. Upon arrival, it was discovered the resident was at her daughter’s home. All was okay.
8:27 AM – Officer responded to 19500 Blk. of Florence St. for a report of missing medication from a 78 YO female. Upon arrival, it was discovered the female had a stroke and was partially blind. The officer found one of the missing pillboxes but was unable to locate the second box.
12:34 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to a civil matter – child custody.
2:15 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to an elderly driver that he was concerned he may not be able to safely operate a motor vehicle. The complainant reported that the driver could hardly walk without being escorted to his vehicle by an HEB CStore employee.
9:01 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus and talked to complainant in reference to a female subject shoplifting. It was determined that no shoplifting occurred.
10:27 PM – Officer initiated a traffic stop at N Prairie St. and Laredo St. for expired registration. It was discovered the driver was operating the vehicle without insurance and suspended driver’s license. The vehicle was impounded.
11:15 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a man unconscious in a parked vehicle. The man woke up and stated he had no place to go so he was just sleeping in his vehicle. Officer asked him to move to the Beall’s P-Lot are to avoid further calls from HEB customers. He agreed to move.
11:49 PM – Officers responded to Chevron for a report of a verbal disturbance. Officers made contact with two female subjects who were disputing over work scheduling. There was no physical contact or threats made. Both females left the area.
July 9
3:10 PM – Officers responded to Lytle Dental jump start a vehicle.
7:20 PM – Officer responded to 19100 Blk. of N Benton St. for a report of a disturbance. One half of the party agreed to leave the house for the night.
10:58 PM – Officer responded to 15900 Blk. of Lakeside Circle Dr. for a report of suspicious circumstances that took place during a civil matter – child exchange.
11:02 PM – Officer responded to Exxon and talked to complainant in reference to a child custody question.
11:45 PM – Officer was flagged down by a resident at S Somerset St. and Magnolia St. who was looking for his injured dog.
July 10
12:01 AM – While on patrol at Chaparral Ford, officer noticed the alarm for a piece of construction equipment going off. Officers secured the area.
5:28 AM – Officers responded to Days Inn for a report of an activated alarm. All doors have been removed and there were no signs of criminal activity.
1:32 PM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. and talked to complainant who reported his dog missing.
3:45 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus and talked to complainant about a shoplifter. The suspect stole lashes/nails valued at $26. The juvenile suspect was located and released to a parent.
6:02 PM – Officer responded to Hidalgo St. for a report of a suspicious gray Ford Mustang in the area. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
6:25 PM – Officer responded to 20000 Blk. of FM 3175 for a report of a civil matter – lord/tenant dispute.
July 11
12:18 AM – While on patrol at the 15000 Blk. of Main St. officers noticed a suspicious vehicle parked in front of Hack’s Auto. The vehicle was unoccupied but the hood was still warm.
1:34 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 131 for a report of a red Chevy pick-up waving a gun at an 18 wheeler on IH 35 during a road rage incident. Officers located the vehicle, conducted a felony stop. No weapon was discovered after the search. The male subject was released.
6:05 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to threats that were made against complainant. The conflict occurred in Bexar Co.
