July 3
9:02 AM – Officer responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom St. for a report of a subject who had moved some blocks and an old telephone pole from one property to another. Subject stated he would move them back.
11:17 AM – Officer responded to Days Inn to unlock a vehicle.
9:30 PM – Officer responded to 18800 Blk. of Live Oak for a talk to an officer in reference to a vehicle that had backed into the complainant’s fence. No damage noted.
July 4
9:45 AM – Officer responded to Bad Vibe Studios for a report of an alarm.
12:33 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 NB at Luckey Rd. to assist Bexar Co. with a vehicle crash by blocking the northbound fast lane until additional Bexar Co. units arrived.
1:42 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a requested presence in the parking lot as complainant was following a person suspected of theft. After several minutes, PD units were cancelled as subject paid for merchandise.
8:57 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 Access Rd. at FM 3175 for a dog running at large. Officer stopped and detained the dog and transported it to the Lytle Animal Shelter where it was held until it could make bond.
9:41 PM – Officers responded to 19400 Blk. of N. Prairie St. for a report of fireworks in the area.
9:59 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Harbour St. for a report of fireworks in the area. Officer located subject and gave him a verbal warning.
10:30 PM – Officers responded to 15900 Blk. of Lake Shore Dr. for a report of fireworks in the area. Officers arrived and made contact with home owner who was given a verbal warning.

11:31 PM – Officer responded to Chevron Star Food Mart to unlock a vehicle.
July 5
7:10 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of an 18 wheeler that struck a light pole.
11:01 AM – Complainant reported that a blank check was taken from her residence and her signature was forged and cashed in San Antonio. Officer informed complainant that a report on the stolen check would be provided but the felony offense of Forgery occurred in another jurisdiction.
3:05 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home for a report of the natural death of a 74-year-old male subject.
5:30 PM – Officer responded to JD’s Small Engine Repair for a report of a civil matter.
5:51 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
6:00 PM – Officer responded to 2000 FM 2790 for a report of a large snake under the home.
10:07 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 SB at Rest Area to assist Medina Co. with a major accident.
11:30 PM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Main St. for a report of an alarm.

3:50 AM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of a vehicle on fire.
6:07 AM – Officer responded to Camino Real for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
8:29 AM – Officer responded to Railroad St. at N. Somerset St. for a report of an elderly female walking in the area. Officer located the subject who stated she was waiting for a diner to open.
8:35 AM – Officer responded to Lytle-Somerset St. at Lazy J for a report of a damaged meter possibly from the construction crew of the new apartments. Total estimated loss $100.
1:27 PM – Officer responded to JD’s Small Engine Repair for a report of a civil matter – warranty repair to a 4-wheeler.
4:45 PM – Officer responded to Lytle City Hall to assist Atascosa EMS with a male patient who fell off a bike. Officer gave subject a courtesy ride home.
6:14 PM – Officer responded to 19300 Blk. of Somerset St. for a report of a theft. An unknown person(s) stole a gas valve from a BBQ pit and replaced it with an older gas valve. Estimated loss $35.
6:34 PM – Officer responded to Pumphouse Carwash to unlock a vehicle.
July 7
1:30 AM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle and Gun for a report of an alarm. Officer found building secure.
7:04 AM – Officer responded to Best Western Plus for a report of a stolen vehicle. An unknown person(s) stole a red in color 2005 Ford F250 that had a welding rig in the back. The truck also contained a Remington M1911 .45 Cal pistol.
7:35 AM – Officers responded to 18900 Blk. of N. Prairie St. for a report of a domestic assault. A 35-year-old male subject was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury – Family Violence. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
8:30 AM – Officer responded to 19600 Blk. of Lake Shore Dr. to unlock a vehicle.
9:19 AM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St. to unlock a vehicle.
10:50 AM – Officers assisted Hurley Funeral Home with an escort.
11:43 AM – Officer met complainant at the police station in reference to a civil matter
1:18 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a two vehicle crash. Officer located the drivers who had already exchanged information and did not want to file a report.
6:30 PM – Force was used to gain entry into a storage building at Lytle Mini Storage. Unknown if anything was taken.
6:45 PM – Officer stood by while an Adult Protective Services Investigator conducted an interview in the 18200 block of Wisdom Rd.
July 8
11:30 AM – Officer responded to Days Inn for report of damage to a vehicle. It was determined to be a civil matter.
12:11 PM – Two loose horses were secured in an enclosed property in the Coalmine subdivision.
7:33 PM – Officers met with a complainant on CR 6841 in reference a civil matter
July 9
12:16 AM – Officers assisted the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office with a one vehicle accident in Bexar Co.
1:00 AM – Officers met with a complainant on CR 6841 reference a civil matter (second trip)
12:11 PM – Traffic stop on Somerset at Laredo resulted in the arrest of a 41-year-old male subject for an active domestic violence warrant out of Bexar Co. Suspect also had an active parole violation warrant.
4:28 PM – Officers assisted EMS with a patient on Lake Shore Dr.
5:03 PM – Officers assisted EMS with a patient on S. Somerset St.
6:30 PM – Complainant reported loose dogs in John Lott Park. Officer checked park.
7:28 PM – Officer spoke with a resident on Bruce St. in reference to a civil matter
8:00 PM – Complainant at Lydia’s Pet Grooming reported that some unknown person was feeding cats on her property.
8:13 PM – Officers responded to the Lytle Nursing home to speak with staff in reference to an issue they were having with a resident.
