Jan. 27
12:43 AM –Complainant called the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to an assault.
1:05 AM –While conducting a security check at the Lytle High School (18900 Blk. of FM 2790 E) a gate leading into the bus barn was found unsecured. No sign of criminal activity noted.
11:17 AM – While on patrol at IH 35 Access Rd. exit and McDonald St. officer discovered a broken down 18 wheeler. Officer made contact with the trucking company who stated it would take approximately 1.5 hours for the repairman to arrive.
11:56 AM – Officers responded to FM 3175 at IH 35 and assisted Texas DPS with a vehicle pursuit
12:58 PM – Officer responded to McDonald St. at IH 35 SB Frontage Rd. and directed traffic for a tow truck driver hooking onto an 18 wheeler.
1:30 PM – Officer responded to The Washateria (15000 Blk. of Main St.) for a report of a dryer fire at location.
1:38 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus (19300 Blk. of McDonald St.) for a report of a two vehicle crash.
10:25 PM – Officer responded to Wisdom Rd. at Ball Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. with a traffic stop.
11:38 PM – Officer responded to Beall’s P-Lot (19500 Blk. of IH 35 S) to assist Atascosa EMS with locating a patient involved in an accident at his residence.
Jan. 28
7:45 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home (15300 Blk. of Oak St.) for a welfare check on an elderly patient.
11:48 AM – Officer responded to Main St. at FM 2790 for a train that was blocking the intersections of Main St. and FM 2790 and the Coal Mine entrance. The engineer stated there were 2 trains ahead that resulted in the need to stop. The trains were moved and the crossings were only down for 15 minutes.
12:22 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home (15300 Blk. of Oak St.) for a welfare check on a patient.
1:03 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home (15300 Blk. of Oak St.) for a welfare check on a patient.
3:05 PM – Officer assisted the public with fingerprints for employment purposes.
4:38 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Mesquite St. for a report of shots fired and then two vehicles leaving the area quickly. Officers made contact at the residence described and all was fine.
8:59 PM – Officer responded to 14600 Blk. of Richard Dr. and assisted the public with a courtesy ride.
9:26 PM – Officer responded to 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. to assist Atascosa EMS with an infant having a seizure.
9:56 PM – Traffic stop at the 15000 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the discovery of a baggie of marijuana inside the vehicle. The 37 year old male driver was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Subject was cited and released.
11:47 PM – Officer responded to 200 Blk. of Ala Blanca to assist Atascosa Co. with a 911 hang up call.
Jan. 29
1:37 AM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Harbour St. for a report of a disturbance.
1:52 AM – Officer responded to Burger King (19300 Blk. of McDonald St.) for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
3:45 AM – Officer responded to Harbour St. area and talked to complainant in reference to extra patrol in the area.
8:05 AM – Officer responded to Pumphouse Carwash (14800 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St.) for a report of damage to bay #3 canopy.
9:55 AM – Officer responded to US Post Office (14800 Blk. of Main St.) for a report of raw sewage in the parking lot. Public Works Director advised the Post Office of repairs needed.
11:31 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 S for a report of a two vehicle crash. The accident occurred outside city limits.
11:59 AM – Officer responded to Wisdom Rd. for a report of a suspicious male running down the road. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
1:30 PM – Officer responded to N. Prairie St. to assist Lytle Public Works with traffic control while they were installing the speed humps.
1:31 PM– Officer responded to US Post Office (14800 Blk. of Main St.) for a two vehicle crash.
2:10 PM – Officer assisted the public with fingerprints for employment purposes.
3:00 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to believing her personal information may have been compromised.
3:00 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to complainant in reference to a civil matter.
3:30 PM – Officer received a call requesting traffic support for the upcoming trail riders.
4:00 PM – Officer responded to Lytle City Hall (14900 Blk. of Main St.) for a report of welfare check on an elderly female who stated she had been abused. Upon arrival, it was discovered the incident occurred in Bexar Co.
4:35 PM – Officer responded to St. Andrew’s Catholic Church (14800 Blk. of Main St.) for a report of a welfare check on an elderly female who stated she was kicked out of her home. It was discovered it was the same female from the previous call.
10:15 PM – While on patrol at FM 3175 at IH 35 N Frontage Rd. officer noticed a male carrying a shopping bag wearing only jeans and a t-shirt walking on a very cold night. Officer provided a courtesy ride to his residence.
11:43 PM – Officer responded to Best Western Plus (19800 Blk. of IH 35 N) for a report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. Officer searched for the vehicle and located it at Whataburger. Officer spoke with the driver who stated he was being harassed by his ex and her new boyfriend and that he was just looking for a place to park and spend the night.
Jan. 30
12:05 AM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Harbour St. for a request of a standby while resident removed his belongings from his residence.
7:10 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Primary School (19100 Blk. of n. Prairie St.) and participated in the “Kindness Week” event.
8:20 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Jr. High (18900 Blk. of FM 2790 N) and assisted the public with directions.
1:07 PM – Traffic stop at 14900 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the arrest of a 55 year old male for having an Active Warrant out of Nueces Co. for Assault Family Member – Impede Breath, Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon Count 2 & Continuous Violence Against the Family Count 3.
6:00 PM – Officer responded to Pecan Grove Apartments (14900 Blk. of Main St.) and talked to complainant in reference to a missing family heirloom.
7:08 PM – Officer responded to 19600 Blk. of Martin St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a female with food allergies.
8:05 PM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Oak St. for a report of a damaged side mirror to a vehicle. Total estimated damages $100.
9:51 PM – Officer responded to 19400 Blk. of Blume Dr. in reference to complainant’s 16 YO son.
10:40 PM – Officer responded to 14800 Blk. of StarCross Trail for a report of an ID Theft.
Jan. 31
10:00 AM – Officer responded to FM 3175 to assist Atascosa Co. with a suspicious vehicle that turned out to be stolen. The male suspect evaded on foot.
11:00 AM – Officer responded to 14300 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a suspicious male walking near the roadway. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
11:11 AM – Officer responded to 15900 Blk. of White Cap to unlock a vehicle.
3:25 PM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at IH 35 N Access Rd. for a report of stray goats. The goats ran into a field behind Community National Bank.
4:10 PM – Officer responded to Bruce St. at IH 35 S. Access Rd. for a report of missing juveniles. It was determined there was 4 juveniles missing, two males and two females ages ranging from 10-11 YO. Determined that they had planned to run away. Officers were assisted by the Atascosa Sheriff’s Office and DPS. Officers searched several wooden areas and filtered through tips and leads. The children were safely located at approximately 10:30 PM on CR 681.
7:09 PM – Officer responded to McDonald’s (14800 Blk. of Lytle-Somerset St.) and talked to complainant in reference to an employee that had made threats.
Feb. 1
12:06 AM – Officer responded to 19600 Blk. of Benton City Rd. for a report of an alarm. Officer found the residence to be secure.
1:53 AM – Officer responded to Burger King (19300 Blk. of McDonald St.) for a report of an alarm. Officer arrived and found Sygma delivery truck making a delivery. The driver did not have the correct code for the alarm.
10:00 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
11:50 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Short St. for a report of a suspicious male on the property.
12:30 PM – Officer responded to The Washateria (15000 Blk. of Main St.) to unlock a vehicle.
4:50 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus (19300 Blk. of McDonald St.) for a report of a physical disturbance. The male juveniles were detained at the scene. The juveniles were later released to their parents. Charges pending.
6:55 PM – Officer responded to Days Inn (19500 Blk. of McDonald St.) to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
8:30 PM – Officer responded to Best Western Plus (19800 Blk. of IH 35 N) to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
Feb. 2
2:15 AM – Officer responded to 4000 Blk. of FM 3175 to assist Atascosa Co. with a report of loud music due to a large party.
2:57 AM – Officer responded to 4000 Blk. of 3175 to assist Atascosa Co. with a report of shots fired at the previous large party. Officer arrived with Atascosa Co. Deputy, searched the area and were unable to locate anyone.
1:51 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus (19300 Blk. of McDonald St.) for a report of an 82 YO female who had fallen. Upon arrival, officer was contacted by the victim’s daughter who believed the mother was pushed intentionally by another customer. All three parties involved were identified and released.
6:00 PM – Officer responded to Magnolia St. at S. Benton St. for a report of a civil matter – civil standby.
7:50 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 for a report of a blacked out Police SUV on the interstate creating a traffic hazard when the caller almost hit it. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
8:10 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Short St. for a report of a disturbance between a husband and wife. Upon arrival, both stated it was verbal only.
