Lytle Police Report Feb. 12-18

Feb. 12
2:44 AM – Officer responded to 18300 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of an alarm. Officer arrived and found the residence to be secure. No evidence of criminal activity noted.
11:40 AM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Railroad St. for a report of an intoxicated pedestrian. Officer was unable to locate.
2:40 PM – Officers responded to Lytle Primary School to standby as the parents picked up their children due to a parent voicing his concern on how the line backs up and doesn’t move. All was fine.
8:30 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 131 NB for a report of debris in the roadway. Officer searched the area, unable to locate debris.
11:19 PM – Officer responded to Dollar General for a report of an alarm. Officer arrived and found the building to be secure.
Feb. 13
12:10 AM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at Lucky Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. in searching the area for two vehicles. Officer was unable to locate.
11:14 AM – Officers responded to Lytle Mini Storage for a report of a disruptive customer. Officers arrived and spoke briefly with the customer, all was ok. Dispute was over a civil matter – property.
1:10 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to ask for assistance with a civil matter – child custody.
4:37 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a child left unattended in a vehicle. Officer caught up to the vehicle at the on ramp of IH 35 SB. The mother stated she was having a surprise birthday cake made for her son. Officer notified her that it was a violation to leave a child unattended.
4:50 PM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of First St. to serve an arrest warrant. A 30-year-old subject was arrested for Revocation of Probation on Original Charge of Possession of Marijuana < 2oz. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
7:00 PM – Officer was contacted via telephone for a child custody matter.
7:35 PM – Officer responded to Main St. at Somerset St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
11:05 PM – Officer responded to 16300 Blk. of Jacobs Path for a report of a complainant hearing voices outside her bedroom. Officer checked the area, unable to locate the source of voices.
Feb. 14
3:11 AM – Officer responded to NAPA for an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure with no evidence of criminal activity.
9:30 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to report a lost wallet which contained various identifying cards as well as bank cards.
9:50 AM – Officer responded to City Hall assisted the public with a courtesy ride to Shepherd Rd.
5:00 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home for a report of a natural death of a 65-year-old female subject.
7:15 PM – Officer responded to Community National Bank for an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
Feb. 15
8:39 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Animal Care & Control Facility for a two vehicle crash.
12:05 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 131 for a report of 3 dogs near the interstate creating a traffic hazard. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
1:30 PM – Officers removed 6 bandit signs that were mounted on stop signs on Mesquite St. and Oak St.
2:05 PM – Officer responded to N. Prairie St. for a report of a reckless driver. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
2:20 PM – Officer responded to John Lott Park Pavilion to unlock a vehicle.
6:00 PM – Officer was waved down by a concerned citizen in reference to a disturbance at the Lytle Laundry Mat. Officer arrived only to find one half of the party. Disturbance was all verbal.
Feb. 16
8:03 AM – Officer responded to 14400 Blk. of Main St. for a two vehicle crash.
9:20 AM – Officer responded to 19100 Blk. of Harbour St. for a report of a civil matter. Officer issued a Criminal Trespass Warning at the request of complainant. Subject was there to pick up her daughter from the residence which is also occupied by subject’s ex-husband and father of child.
10:48 AM – Officers dispatched to the 18500 Blk. of Live Oak St. in reference to a subject hanging out in the area. The subject was located and all was fine.
11:30 AM – Officers provided an escort from Hurley’s Funeral Home to the Lytle Comm. Cemetery.
12:11 PM – Officer assisted with unlocking a vehicle at the O’Reilly Auto Parts.
2:47 PM – Officer dispatched to the area of Camino Real Crisis Center to assist with looking for a consumer that was missing. Subject was not located and was free to leave at the time they went missing.
Feb. 17
12:00 AM – Officer conducted a traffic stop on IH 35 Southbound Frontage Rd. @ Office St. for disregarding a stop sign. A 19-year-old male subject was arrested for Possession of Marijuana <2oz.
7:20 AM – Officer dispatched to the 18400 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. to check on a subject asleep in a vehicle that was in a field. Contact was made and the elderly subject was driven home to family.
11:40 AM – Officer was contacted on the phone in reference to extra patrols in the area of Cottage St. @ Easy St.
11:45 AM – Officer dispatched to the Lytle Apts. to check on a resident. All was fine.
1:14 PM – Officer dispatched to the Chevron for a verbal disturbance between clerk and patron. The patron was located and advised to not go back to the store for the night.
5:03 PM – Officer was dispatched to the HEB Plus for a 2 vehicle minor accident. The officer was cancelled prior to arrival.
Feb. 18
9:10 AM – Officer dispatched to the McDonalds to assist a stranded motorist.
4:47 PM – Officer dispatched to the HEB Plus for a theft of a purse from a shopping cart.
6:10 PM – Officers dispatched to the HEB Plus for a minor accident.
7:15 PM – Officers dispatched to IH 35 area to assist Devine PD with a motorcycle pursuit. The subject crashed out on CR 6723 and was in custody upon LPD arrival.
7:24 PM – Officers dispatched to assist ACSO with a disturbance that involved a handgun in the Royal Oaks Subdivision on FM 476.
11:15 PM – Dispatched to Harbour St. for a report of suspicious activity. Officer checked the area and residence and everything appeared okay.
