Lytle Police Report Aug. 26-Sept. 1

Aug. 26
1:11 AM – Officers responded to 14600 Blk. of FM 2790 W for a report of a reckless driver. Officers searched the area, unable to locate.
4:50 PM – While patrolling the Lake Shore Estates, officer was stopped by a resident who had observed 2 black Mustangs that looked out of place. Extra patrols were requested.
7:51 PM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Oak St. for a welfare check on 4 minor children.
10:36 PM – While on patrol, officer observed the activated lights of a vehicle parked at Certified Truck Auto Repair. The vehicle was locked.
Aug. 27
4:11 AM – Officer responded to Los Arcos De Jalisco for a report of an unsecured back door to the restaurant. The restaurant was cleared and there were no signs of criminal activity.
5:10 AM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a wooded pallet in the roadway making a traffic hazard. Officer removed the items from the roadway.
8:55 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and filed a report on his lost wallet. Incident occurred on 8/26/19. He later found his wallet.
9:00 AM – Officer served a Lytle PD arrest warrant on an Assault case. A 28-year-old male subject was arrested for Assault Bodily Injury – Family Member. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
9:22 AM – Officer responded to 15300 Blk. of Cottage St. for a report of an open 911 call. Officer checked the area and located a man working in the yard. He checked his phone and he had accidentally dialed a variety of numbers that included 911. All was okay.
4:32 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to unlock a vehicle.
5:14 PM – Officer responded to Pearsall Rd. at Griffin Rd. to assist Lytle Vol. Fire Dept. with a grass fire.
8:05 PM – Officer responded to Wisdom Rd. at Norvell St. for a report of a suspicious female that was dropped off by a white van in the neighborhood. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
9:25 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus and assisted the public with a courtesy ride to Griffin Rd.
10:18 PM – Officer responded to Lynda’s Apartments for a report of a female who was not wanted on the property. The female departed prior to officer’s arrival.
11:45 PM – While on patrol at the Lytle High School, officer observed an abandoned vehicle in the parking lot.
Aug. 28
12:25 AM – While patrolling at HEB Plus, officer noticed a suspicious vehicle parked on the produce side entry. The vehicle was occupied by a security guard contracted by HEB. The guard was watching the doors as contractors were in and out of the building servicing the freezer units.
6:24 PM – Officer responded to 15400 Blk. of Main St. for a welfare check at a residence as a passer-by saw a water hose connected to a vehicle tailpipe in the driveway. Officer made contact with the resident who was running the hose to a hole in the ground with gophers.
9:15 PM – Officer responded to Whataburger for a report of two suspicious customers in the restaurant. Officer made contact with the two individuals who were recently discharged from Camino Real and were now stranded in Lytle.
Aug. 29
8:42 PM – Officer responded to Pumphouse Carwash for a report of a lost wallet.
Aug. 30
6:10 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 131 SB for a report of a hit & run.
10:13 AM – Officer responded to 19500 Blk. of Florence St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a life alert for assistance.
10:40 AM – Officer responded to N. Somerset St. at Adams St. for a report of several tree branches causing a traffic hazard.
2:06 PM – Officer assisted with getting a subject in a motorized wheel chair back to the US Renal Care.
2:27 PM – Officers responded to the HEB Plus for a theft. A 39-year-old female subject was arrested for Theft $100 – $750 after she stole items that were valued at $132.
4:20 PM – Officers conducted a traffic stop on FM 2790 N at Laredo St. that resulted in the seizure of contraband with no criminal charges.
8:47 PM – Officers were dispatched to the 100 Blk. of CR 6843 for a suspicious vehicle.
11:45 PM – Officer was dispatched to the Country View Apts. in reference to the odor of marijuana in the area.
Aug. 31
12:10 AM – Officer was dispatched to the 15300 Blk. of Main St. in reference to a civil matter.
7:10 AM – Officer was dispatched to FM 463 @ FM 2790 N in reference to a loose horse.
11:30 AM – While on patrol, Officer found several 2X4’s in the roadway.
12:42 PM – Officer was dispatched to the Valero on Main St. in reference to a minor two vehicle accident.
2:26 PM – Officers were dispatched to the 14700 Blk. of Main St. in reference to a residential alarm.
3:20 PM – Bexar Co. S.O. Officers were dispatched to IH 35 at mile marker 133 to assist with a vehicle crash.
5:15 PM – Officer was dispatched to the HEB Plus in reference to a vehicle that was keyed.
Sept. 1
12:06 AM – Officers were dispatched to the 15500 Blk. of Main St. to assist Atascosa Co. EMS.
12:51 AM – After conducting police activity on Pine St., an officer struck a fire hydrant while backing. There was no damage to the hydrant and the patrol vehicle received a very minor ding.
5:35 AM – Officer was dispatched to the HEB C-Store to assist with unlocking a vehicle.
6:03 AM – Officers were dispatched to the Best Western Plus in reference to a suspicious vehicle.
8:02 AM – Officers were dispatched to the Lytle Nursing Home to assist Atascosa CO. EMS.
8:26 AM – Officers were dispatched to the HEB C-Store Car Wash to check the welfare of 2 subjects asleep inside a vehicle in the car wash. A person was contacted to pick the subjects up.
8:37 AM – Officer was flagged down at the HEB C-Store in reference to a subject putting $10 into the Texas Lottery machine and not receiving his scratch off card.
9:05 AM –While officers were investigating a suspicious vehicle in the 20200 Blk. of FM 3175, they were dispatched to the same area for a hit & run. Investigation determined LPD had the vehicle involved already stopped. A 39-year-old female subject was arrested for Accident Involving Damage to a Vehicle >$200, Poss. of a Drug Test Falsification Device & Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1
