Lytle Police Report April 24-30

April 24
2:38 AM – While conducting a park check, officer noted a vehicle parked in the west parking lot with a female lying in the back seat. Officer made contact with the female who stated had no place to stay and was living in her vehicle.
5:58 AM – Officer responded to Taco Bell for a report of an alarm. Officer made contact with an employee who stated she had given the wrong code. No criminal activity noted.
7:57 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
9:58 AM – Report of a sexual assault, case under investigation.
11:25 AM – Officer responded to 19300 Blk. of McDonald St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
11:32 AM – Officer responded to Taqueria Jalisco to assist Atascosa EMS with a male who fell off his motorcycle in the parking lot. Subject refused medical care and stated he was ok.
12:50 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to unlock a vehicle.
1:05 PM – Officer responded to City Hall to unlock a vehicle.
April 25
10:30 AM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to report he stated he parked his vehicle on Sunday April 23, 2017 at HEB Plus went inside and returned a few minutes later and observed damage to the right rear quarter panel of his vehicle. There were white scrapes with minor denting visible.
10:16 AM – Officer responded to Lake St. near N. Benton St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle that parks in the same spot multiple days. Officer spoke with the driver who is a traveling nurse and picked that spot to eat her lunch before going to her next home visit.
10:29 AM – Traffic stop on N. Prairie St. and Laredo St. resulted in the driver’s vehicle being impounded for No Insurance, Fictitious Registration Sticker and Expired Registration. The female was given a courtesy ride to her residence in Devine.
1:29 PM – Officers responded to Family Dollar for a report of a disturbance between a man and a woman. Officers located the vehicle at Adams St. and N. Somerset St. Both denied any physical contact. The vehicle was impounded due to No Insurance and both had Suspended Driver’s Licenses.
5:20 PM – Report of drug paraphernalia behind Beall’s. Officers responded and found 2 needles. Drug paraphernalia was recovered. Officers walked around in the general area and found nothing else around.
7:20 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of a theft of a 50” TV, Bluetooth Speaker & a Kodi Cooler. Total estimated loss $688.
9:06 PM – Officers responded to N. Benton St. at Lake St. to unlock a vehicle.
9:08 PM – Officers responded to HEB C-Store for a report of an outraged male on a bicycle. Officers arrived and did not see the male. Officers checked around the HEB area but were unable to locate the male.
10:01 PM – Officers responded to Napa Auto Parts for an alarm. Building was found to be secure.
11:28 PM – Officers responded to Lytle High School for a report of a fire alarm. Officers arrived, all was found to be ok.
April 26
3:05 PM – Officers responded to 14600 Blk. of Railroad St. for a report of an unknown person(s) who dumped trash.
4:20 PM – Officers responded to Lytle City Hall for a report of a mother wanting to speak with an officer in reference to her juvenile child 11 years of age. Officers arrived and made contact with the juvenile interviewed her. The juvenile was transported to Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital for an emergency detention.
April 27
3:38 AM – Officer responded to FM 3175 at Lucky Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy on a traffic stop.
4:02 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 at Mile Marker 135 for a report of a reckless driver. Officer checked the area, unable to locate.
5:01 AM – Officer responded to 14200 Blk. of FM 2790 for an alarm. Officer checked residence and found no evidence of criminal activity.
9:45 AM – Officers responded to Main St. at S. Somerset St. for a report of a woman jumping out of a moving passenger van. Officers found the driver who stated a client had demanded to get out of the van. The client was picked up by her husband and left the scene.
11:26 AM – Officers responded to Valero for a report of two juveniles riding bikes asking directions to Laredo. Officers located the juveniles and discovered that both were missing person out of San Antonio. The juveniles were returned to their respective guardians.
11:30 AM – Officer responded to Days Inn for a talk to an officer in reference to a room being damaged.
12:10 PM – Wanted person turned himself in at the Police Station. An 18-year-old male subject was arrested for Evading Arrest/Detention, Possession of Marijuana < 2 oz. and Possession of Substance PG1 < 1g. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
7:44 PM –Officers responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
9:45 PM–Officers responded to 19000 Blk. of N. Prairie St. for a report of suspicious noise outside of residence. Officers reached the area and found no criminal activity.
April 28
9:38 AM – Officers responded to CR 6710 for a report of loose livestock. Officer located 4 cows and secured them.
10:30 AM – Officers responded to McDonald St. at IH 35 Access Rd. for a two vehicle crash.
4:55 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to report her wallet including various forms of ID and a cell phone as stolen from HEB.
5:00 PM – Officer responded to Days Inn for a report of an 18 wheeler that turned around the parking lot and damaged some of the newly put down asphalt. Complainant was advised it was a civil matter.
5:35 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Café for a report of a sandwich board sign in the roadway. Business owner removed it.
7:30 PM – Officers responded to Bill Miller BBQ for a report of two males fighting in the parking lot. Officers detained two 18-year-old male subjects. Both were cited for Fighting in Public and released.
9:18 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of a male and female shoplifters from a previous time. Upon officers’ arrival, they tried to detain them but subjects were able to slip from scene. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate subjects.
10:08 PM – Officers responded to US Renal Care for an alarm. Cleaning crew was on scene but did not have the new code. He had called and got the code by the time officers arrived. All was fine.
10:30 PM – Officers responded to FM 2790 E for a report of an oil spill on the roadway. Officers found it to be transmission fluid. Lytle Vol. Fire Dept. arrived on scene to clear up the roadway.
April 29
2:09 AM – While patrolling the John Lott Park officer conducted a records check on a vehicle that was parked with no one in or around it. Vehicle did not show stolen, no further action taken.
2:53 AM – Officer responded to 19500 Blk. of N. Somerset St. for a report of shots being fired. Officer checked the area but was unable to locate.
2:03 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and spoke with complainant in regards to her neighbor’s small child that went to get the ball from complainant’s driveway and was afraid the child could have been struck by a motor vehicle.
4:15 PM – Officer responded to StarCross Trail for a report of a Golf cart being driven on the street. Officer made contact with operator and advised her she could not operate cart on roadway. Golf cart was driven home and parked.
9:15 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a reckless driver. Officer was unable to locate.
9:45 PM – Civilian Auxiliary responded to HEB Plus for a report of 2 suspicious males walking around the parking lot and front entrance by the pharmacy side. Subjects were unable to be located.
11:20 PM – Officer responded to Lake Shore Estates for a report of vehicles racing vehicle through the subdivision. Officer checked the area, unable to locate.
April 30
2:05 AM – Officer responded to Oak Park Country Club for a report of loud music. Officer made contact with members and advised to turn the music down. Members complied.
9:38 AM – Officer responded to Taqueria Jalisco to unlock a vehicle.
3:11 PM – Officer responded to Camino Real Crisis Center for an emergency detention on a male subject.
5:42 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 Access Rd. at FM 3175 to assist a disabled motorist.
4:40 PM – Officer responded to Wisdom Rd. at Ball Rd. for a report of shots fired in the area. Officer was unable to locate.
4:44 PM – Officer responded to Dollar General for a welfare check on a child inside a vehicle alone. Officer arrived but vehicle had departed.
8:52 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of a shoplifter. Officers made contact with store manager and stated that subject had taken items without paying. Store manager did not want to file charges but did want a criminal trespass warning issued. Officers issued a Criminal Trespass Warning to subject.
9:51 PM – Officers responded to Whataburger for a talk to an officer in reference to a firearm magazine found in one of the eating booths. Officers made contact with the manager who stated one of the employees was cleaning the booth and found the magazine. Officers took the magazine and placed it into the armory.
