Lytle Police Report April 15-21

April 15
4:22 AM – Officer responded to Whataburger for a report of a burglary of vehicle. A purse was taken from her vehicle while she entered the restaurant to buy food.
10:20 AM – Officer responded to 19700. Blk. of IH 35 S. Frontage Rd. to assist a stranded elderly motorist by arranging a tow to a nearby auto repair facility for his broken down truck.
11:00 AM – Officer responded to 200 Pinn Rd. to assist Atascosa Co. with unlocking a vehicle with a child trapped inside.
3:00 PM – Officer received notification from Atascosa Co. Sheriff’s Officer that a 2002 GMC Yukon vehicle that was reported stolen in Lytle had been recovered by Guadalupe Co. SO. The owner was notified.
3:50 PM – Officers responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. for a report of an unruly 16 YO juvenile.
9:40 PM – Officer responded to 18700 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of a snake. Officer arrived and the homeowner disposed of the reptile.
10:30 PM – Officer responded to Bruce St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
11:50 PM – Officer responded to Lytle High School for a report of a suspicious vehicle left in the parking lot. No signs of criminal activity.
April 16
10:03 AM – Officer responded to McDonald’s for a report of an alarm. Officer spoke with the manager who stated it was a false alarm.
1:00 PM – Officer responded to PR 6830 and assisted a lost motorist. Officer guided her to an address she was searching for.
1:10 PM – Officer responded to CR 6841 at CR 6840 for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked at intersection. Officer spoke with 3 occupants who stated they were waiting to meet a man to purchase a car stereo. They agreed to move their business transaction off the road and into the driveway of the buyer.
3:47 PM – Officer responded to Lytle-Somerset St. at Bruce St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
4:33 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
6:30 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to an incident that occurred on 4/12/19.
6:50 PM – Officer responded to John Lott Park for a report of a 911 hang up call. Officer checked the park and observed a couple hundred occupants, no sign of anybody in distress.
April 17
12:49 – Officer responded to IH 35 for a report of a reckless driver in a Red Mustang. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
10:25 AM – Complainant called the police station and talked to officer in reference to an incident where he purchased a used TV on offer up from a person out of Moore, Tx. Once complainant got home, he saw that the TV was broken.
11:46 AM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Railroad St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officer searched the area, all was fine.
12:02 PM – Officers assisted the San Antonio PD in 17000 Blk. Lake Meadow Dr.
6:33 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 SB at Benton City Rd. to assist a stranded motorist. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
7:33 PM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of First St. for a welfare check on a residence. Officer arrived and made contact with resident, who would not open the door but stated all was fine.
8:36 PM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Hester St. to assist San Antonio PD with a DNA warrant service. Officer was able to execute the warrant.
9:52 PM – Officer responded to 19000 Blk. of N. Somerset St. for a report of a verbal argument between a husband and wife (they were at a friend’s house). The husband left the residence without further incident and he was given a written criminal trespass warning.
11:00 PM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. and conducted an emergency detention. Subject was transported to University Hospital for an evaluation.
April 18
7:45 AM – Officer responded to 19100 Blk. of N. Somerset St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
11:46 AM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Railroad St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officer searched the area, all was fine.
12:29 PM – Officer responded to Pumphouse Carwash for a report of subjects trying to sell products. Officer searched the area, unable to locate anyone.
2:21 PM – Officer received a BOLO on a child who was abducted by the father from Natalia Elementary School. Officer was unable to locate the child.
3:07 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a two vehicle crash.
10:30 PM – Officer responded to Hidalgo St. for a report of a 911 hang up call. Officer made location and patrolled up and down the street, unable to locate anyone.
April 19
12:00 AM – Officer provided a police escort/traffic control from Coal Mine to St. Andrew’s Church for a crucifixion of Christ reenactment.
3:15 PM – Officer responded to FM 463 to FM 2790 N for a report of a subject placing yard waste on the public area on FM 463 near Lake Shore Estates. Officer spoke with subject who stated he was just throwing the grass clippings from his courtesy mowing of the public area in front of his house. Call will be referred to Code Compliance.
4:50 PM – Officer responded to 16000 Blk. of Lake Shore Dr. for a report of an ATV on the public roadway. Officer located the driver and issued a written warning.
6:10 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 NB at Mile Marker 132 for a report of a four vehicle major crash. Two subjects were transported to San Antonio area hospital.
April 20
2:30 AM – Officer responded to Whataburger and talked to complainant in reference to teenagers being loud and unruly. Upon arrival, management advised that the group had settled down. All was quiet when officer arrived.
6:50 AM – Officer responded to Hwy. 132 at CR 6840 and assisted a female pedestrian with a courtesy ride to 1604 and money for food. The female stated she was walking to Southwest General Hospital to visit her father who is a patient there.
10:12 AM – Officer responded to Yumi Food Market for a report of a suspicious male in a vehicle for 2 hours with a car door open and blocking a fuel pump. Officer located the man coming out of the store restroom and stated he was having an anxiety attack and was feeling better. The male subject departed without further incident.
11:49 AM – Traffic stop at CR 6710 and FM 2790 N resulted in the arrest of the driver, a 29 YO male subject for having an Active Warrant out of Medina Co. for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd and Driving While License Invalid with Previous Convictions. Subject was transported to Medina Co. Jail.
2:10 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station to report her adult son was missing for the last 24 hours. The son called his mother while officer was taking the report. All was fine.
3:03 PM – Officer provided security for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at John Lott Park.
4:31 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a suspicious female dropped off at the fuel pump. Officer searched all near businesses, unable to locate.
4:49 PM – Officer responded to 15600 Blk. of CR 681 for a report of a residential alarm. Officer made contact with an 87 YO resident who then fainted while officer was speaking to her. EMS was dispatched but resident refused treatment. Family members arrived to take care of the female.
9:55 PM – Complainant spoke with officer in reference to wanting information over a civil issue.
April 21
9:25 AM – Officer responded to City Hall for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
9:35 AM – Officer responded to 14600 Blk. of Main St. to unlock a vehicle.
10:58 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 SB Frontage at Office St. and made contact with a 21 YO male walking northbound with two bags of clothes. Officer noted the male was upset and was walking back to San Antonio. Officer was able to contact his parents and pick him up.
7:28 PM – Officers responded to 14600 Blk. of Main St. to be on the lookout for a vehicle that could possibly be stolen. Officers were unable to locate.
