12:45 AM – Officer responded to US Renal Care for a report of a suspicious man sleeping at the front door. Officer made contact with the male individual and asked to leave. Officer offered a courtesy ride but refused.
8:35 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a large tow chain in the middle of the roadway. Officer removed the object off the roadway.
11:35 AM – Officer responded to AutoZone to unlock a vehicle.
1:45 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Main St. and talked to complainant in reference to unauthorized transactions on complainant’s debit card. The card was stolen out of Bexar Co. and used in the city.
2:10 PM – Officer responded to 18700 Blk. of Live Oak St. for a report of a snake in a carport. Officer was unable to remove the snake as it entered the metal of the carport.
5:50 PM – Officer responded to 17900 Blk. of FM 2790 S. for a report of a car on blocks. Officer arrived and discovered the vehicle belonged to an employee who was advised of the situation.
7:13 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, officer met with a 61-year-old male subject who was arrested for Public Intoxication. Subject was cited and transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
9:25 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 S for a possible rollover in the grassy area of the highway. Officers drove the highway and service roads from Natalia to Shepherd Rd. and were unable to locate the vehicle.
11:40 PM – Officer responded to Main St. at Bank St. for a report of a one vehicle crash. Vehicle struck an electrical pole resulting in a power outage for most of the city.
May 28
10:05 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Main St. to assist Lytle Vol. Fire Dept. with a report of a fire alarm. False alarm due to the power outage.
11:43 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store and talked to complainant in regards to a female trying to sell puppies in front of the store. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
12:00 PM – Officer responded to Bruce St. for a report of a welfare check on a male subject.
2:15 PM – Officer responded to Joe’s Automotive and talked to complainant in reference to stolen check and cashed at unknown location.
7:10 PM – Officers responded to 19400 Blk. of S Benton St. for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
10:04 PM – Officers responded to 1900 Blk. of IH 35 S for a report of an alarm. Officers found the building to be secure.
May 29
12:35 AM –Officers responded to Whataburger to assist the public. Upon arrival, it was discovered the a male subject had been admitted into Camino Real by Atascosa Co. Deputies but subject felt he was in danger of his life and left the facility. Officers provided the male a courtesy ride.
2:20 AM – Officers responded to O’Rilley Auto Parts for a report of an alarm. Officers were approached by the key holder who had received a phone call from the alarm company. Officers cleared the building and left without further incident.
2:30 AM – Officers responded to Oak Creek Homes and assisted Atascosa Co. Deputy with an open gate and door.
5:10 AM – While on patrol at 15000 Blk. of Main St. officer noticed a stranded motorist. The female driver was given a courtesy ride to HEB Gas Station to get fuel and taken back to her vehicle.
10:30 AM – Officers responded to Hurley’s Funeral and provided funeral escort.
2:30 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of an unknown person(s) who used a sharpie to draw graffiti on the exterior of the store.
5:33 PM – Officer responded to Best Western Plus for a welfare check on a male staying at the location. Officer spoke to the hotel staff who advised the subject left the hotel with a female and appeared to be fine.
9:53 PM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Oak St. for a report of a man sleeping in his running car that was parked at the location. Officer made contact with the male subject who stated he was tired and had just fallen asleep on the way home.
May 30
12:15 AM – Officer responded to St. Andrew’s Church for a report of a 911 hang up call. Officer spoke to the Father who stated he had accidentally dialed 911 when attempting to call India which has a 091 country code.
2:00 AM – While conducting a building check at 19300 Blk. of McDonald St. officer discovered an unlocked back door to the building. Officer cleared the building out and found no signs of criminal activity. Officer was able to lock the door on his way out.
4:07 AM – Officer responded to Sonic Drive In for a report of an alarm. Officer found the building to be secure.
6:20 AM – Officer responded to 19400 Blk. of S Benton St. for a report of a stolen 2002 Red Ford F250.
11:35 AM – Officers responded to City Hall and released property to rightful owner.
12:05 PM – While patrolling the area, officers were approached by a citizen who talked to officers in reference to surveyors in front of his home.
12:15 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 S Access Rd and Benton City Rd. for a report of an 18 wheeler blocking the roadway. The unit was moved and the roadway was cleared.
2:50 PM – Officers responded to Joe’s Automotive and conducted a follow up on an open case.
6:00 PM – While on patrol at Cottage St. at D’Hanis St. officers talked to complainant in reference to vehicles running the stop sign.
7:53 PM – Officer responded to 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
8:10 PM – Officer responded to FM 2790 N near CR 6710 for a report of a dog lying in the road. Officer was able to pick up the dog and returned it to Animal Control from where it had escaped.
8:18 PM – Officer responded to 15200 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a civil matter – child custody.
8:59 PM – Officer responded to Taco Bell for a report of a hit & run.
9:25 PM – Officer responded to El Bufalo Pawn for a report of an alarm. Officer was cancelled by the alarm company upon arrival.
May 31
7:58 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a suspicious person. Complainant wanted the subject issued a criminal trespass notice. Officer made contact with the male individual and issued the trespass notice.
11:51 AM – Officer responded to 185300 Blk. of FM 2790 S for a report of advertisement signs being placed in a yard without the owner’s consent.
1:24 PM – Traffic stop at the 15000 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the arrest of a 25-year-old woman for Possession of Marijuana < 2oz. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail. CPS notification conducted due to a child being in the vehicle.
2:08 PM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Short St. to unlock a vehicle.
2:19 PM – Traffic stop at the 15000 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the arrest of a male subject for having a Warrant out of Bexar Co. for Original Charge of Possession of Marijuana 4oz. – 5lbs. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
6:00 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of an unwanted subject at the store. Officer issued a criminal trespass to the male subject and released him.
6:25 PM – Officers responded to 15200 Blk. of Hester St. for a report of a civil matter – landlord/tenant dispute.
7:30 PM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Norvell St. for a report of a physical disturbance. Further investigation resulted in the arrest of a 39-year-old male subject for Assault Causing Bodily Injury – Family Member and Interference with Emergency Phone Call. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
June 1
2:14 AM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Main St. for a report of a disturbance involving a female screaming at children. Officer made contact with the female who stated she and her children were sleeping when officer knocked on the door. Everything appeared quiet and calm.
3:03 AM – Field contact at CR 681 on a suspicious vehicle occupied by four people resulted in the arrest of owner of vehicle, and 18-year-old female subject, for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Subject was cited and released.
7:57 AM – Officer responded to Days Inn and talked to complainant in reference to his stolen vehicle. While speaking with complainant, he mentioned being 2 weeks late on his payment. Officer contacted Atascosa Co. SO who confirmed that the vehicle was repossessed at the Days Inn and complainant was advised to contact the Recovery Company.
12:09 PM – Officer responded to The Washateria for a report of a male subject asking people for money. Officer spoke with the subject and advised him to stay away and not be asking for money.
6:58 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a woman who had purchased a gold ring for $23 from a man peddling jewelry at the HEB Fuel pumps. The woman went to El Bufalo Pawn immediately after the purchase and was told the ring was not gold. The peddler was located and agreed to refund the woman’s purchase.
7:57 PM – Officers responded to Pecan Grove Apartments for a report of a loud banging coming from a unit and wanting officers to do a welfare check. Officers arrived and the owner of the building stated she was putting up frames.
8:55 PM – Officers responded to 14900 Blk. of Harbour St. to conduct a welfare check on complainant’s adult daughter whom he said is being physically abused by her boyfriend. Officers spoke with the daughter.
10:32 PM – Officer responded to John Lott Park for a report of loud music coming from the event at park. Officer patrolled the area and music was not loud and the event was 10 minutes from ending.
10:32 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 N near Lytle area for a report of a female walking on the Interstate. Officers located the woman on the IH 35 S Frontage road near Lucky Rd. Officer provided a courtesy ride back to her residence near Rolling Meadows.
10:54 PM – Officer responded to 19400 Blk. of S Prairie St. and talked to complainant in reference to her estranged husband text messaging her after she had asked him to stop.
11:03 PM – Officer responded to White Cap Dr. for a report of a suspicious red Camaro driving up and down the street. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
June 2
12:21 AM – Officer responded to 18000 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of loud music. The music was not in violation of the city’s noise ordinance, however, the homeowner agreed to lower the volume to satisfy his neighbor.
1:12 AM – Officers responded to Main St. at McDonald St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.
7:45 AM – Officer responded to Best Western Plus to unlock a vehicle.
10:05 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store to unlock a vehicle.
5:21 PM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of a reckless driver in the area. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
8:10 PM – Officers responded to Taqueria Jalisco for a report of unknown suspect(s) who broke the drive thru window to enter the location and stole 2 electronic cash register drawers containing $200 and a cell phone worth $100 that was sitting next to the cash register.
