Lytle Pirates start up 2020 Summer Strength and Conditioning Camp

Lytle Pirate Athletics will begin summer strength and conditioning workouts beginning on June 8, 2020, with many safety measures and protocols in place. Athletes and staff and asked to stay home if they have any symptoms, and staff is asking parents to pick up their child immediately following workout sessions in order to limit close contact and hanging around the school/fieldhouse as much as possible.

Athletic Director Lori Wilson stated, “We are excited to open back and see our athletes but at the same time we want the athletes and parents to know that the safety of everyone is our main priority. Temperatures will be checked every day before the parent drops their son/daughter off as well as attendance. Every Monday they will fill out a health survey to see if anything changed in their household over the weekend.”

“The workouts are voluntary, and there is no pressure for parents to feel they have to send their son/daughter. There are no consequences for missing summer strength/conditioning,” Wilson adds.
