9:05 AM – FM 3175 – Officer spoke to a female residing outside the city limits of Lytle regarding a lost apricot
poodle.


11:48 AM – Wisdom Rd. @ Ball Rd. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for speeding which resulted in the vehicle fleeing. The officer terminated the pursuit at Jarratt Rd.
4:42 PM – Assist Atascosa EMS – 14800 Blk. Lytle-Somerset St. – Officer responded to a patient having a medical emergency.
5: 33 PM – McDonald St. @ IH 35 – Officer responded to a report of a vehicle blocking the roadway. The vehicle was pushed into a parking lot off the roadway.
8:20 PM – 19500 Blk. IH 35 Frontage Rd. – Officers responded to a report of a vehicle window being broken out while driving on the frontage Rd. Officers did not see any projectiles in the vehicle.

1:41 AM – Assist Border Patrol – IH 35 @ Rolling Meadows Dr. – Officer responded to assist with a traffic stop.
8:02 AM – IH 35 @ FM 3175 – Officer responded to the report of a missing stop sign.
11:49 AM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer responded to a report of the passing of five fraudulent checks. The case is under investigation.
8:40 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to an unwanted customer and issued a criminal trespass warning.

2:56 AM – 14500 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to an active alarm. The business was secure.
6:25 AM – 14800 Blk. Lytle-Somerset St. – Officer responded to assist a resident change her fire alarm battery.
6:45 AM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer responded and everything was okay.
7:14 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to unlock a 2015 Ford F-250.
8:46 AM – 20100 Blk. IH 35 – Officer responded to a report of an astray black cow.
11:15 AM – Main St. @ FM 2790 – Officer initiated a traffic stop for an expired motor vehicle registration which resulted in the impound of a black Ford F-250 for expired MVR, no insurance, and no driver’s license.
12:05 PM – 17900 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer responded to a female attempting to drop off a found dog.
1:00 PM – 15000 Blk. Harbour St. – Officer responded and spoke to a resident regarding unreturned paperwork.
1:49 PM – 19700 Blk. IH 35 – Officer responded to a report of criminal mischief. No one from the store called.
2:06 PM – 14900 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to a report of a silver sedan parking in the parking lot all day.
3:55 PM – 14800 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
4:56 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Offices responded to property located in the men’s bathroom. The property was returned to the owner.
7:20 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report of a threat. No offense was committed.
7:21 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded and did not observe the Chevrolet Silverado driving erratic.
8:48 PM – 15200 Blk. Houston St. – Officer responded to unlock a 2022 Toyota.
Thursday, January 04
8:25 AM – 19100 N. Prairie St. – Officer provided a courtesy ride to a female and her three daughters a courtesy ride after their vehicle ran out of gas.
2:19 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – The officer responded to a shoplifter stealing approximately $300 worth of meat and merchandise. The suspect attempted to flee the officer but was caught. A 32 year old male was arrested and booked into the Atascosa County jail for theft, evading on foot, and resisting arrest. Subject also had two felony Medina County warrants for possession of a controlled substance and one Bexar County warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
6:12 – 15800 Blk. CR 681 – Officer responded to a verbal disturbance.
6:15 PM – 18800 Blk. Wisdom Rd. – Officers responded to a verbal disturbance between a mother and son.
Friday, January 05
4:32 AM – IH 35 @ FM 3175 – Officer responded and discovered a male taking scrap metal from a construction site.
5:01 AM – 15400 Blk. Laredo St. – Officers responded to a report of a male running on the football field track.
10:00 AM – Farmer @ FM 2790 – The officer responded to a report of a stolen skid steer valued at $70,000. It was stolen between December 16th between 6 PM and 6 AM on December 17, 2023.
6:00 PM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer responded to two females attempting to pass a forged check. A 38 year old female and a 35year old female were arrested for forgery and booked into the Atascosa County jail.
Saturday, January 06
3:30 AM – Main St. @ Somerset St. – Officers initiated a traffic stop for no front license plate resulted in the arrest of a 36 year old male for an active warrant for possession of a controlled substance out of Tom Green County. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County jail.
12:01 PM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
12:32 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report of a verbal altercation between two customers.
3:25 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report of a male attempting to steal $300 worth of meat and merchandise. The male was stopped by HEB employees and left the scene before the officer’s arrival.
4:15 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report of a male attempting to steal $227 worth of detergent and cleaning products. The female was stopped by HEB employees and left the scene before the officer’s arrival.
5:00 PM – Lytle PD – The officer released the personal property to a female.
5:00 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to an unwanted customer that had received a trespass warning.
6:32 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded and could not locate the disturbance. The complainant had left the scene.
8:10 PM – Railroad St. @ McDonald St. – Officers observed an abandoned green Toyota Sequoia on the side of the roadway.
Sunday, January 07
1:26 AM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – 600 Blk. Las Palomas Dr. – Officers responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist with a disturbance.
1:47 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a possible intoxicated driver. The driver was okay.
2:45 AM – 19500 Blk. IH 35 – Officer responded to a female sleeping on the property.
4:45 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a verbal disturbance.
11:26 AM – N. Prairie St. @ FM 2790 N. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for running a stop sign that resulted in a pursuit. The driver stopped on FM 463 and received a citation for disregarding a stop sign and a speeding citation for 93 mph in a 45 mph zone.
12:03 PM – 14800 Blk. Railroad St. – Officer red-tagged an abandoned vehicle with a 48-hour sticker to move the vehicle.
11:22 PM – Saddle Ridge @ Wyatt Earp Way – Officers observed a parked vehicle with a male sitting in the driver’s seat. Everything was okay.
