3:52 PM – 18900 Blk. N. Pecan St. – Officer responded to the death of an 81-year-old male


8:40 PM – 14800 Blk. Lytle-Somerset Rd. – Officers responded to a civil matter regarding juvenile children.
11:07 PM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – 900 Blk. Wildflower Dr. – Officers responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist with a structure fire.
Tuesday, March 19
5:19 AM – N. Benton St. @ Laredo St. – Officer received a call regarding a suspicious noise.
5:39 AM – 14800 Blk. Lytle-Somerset Rd – Officers responded to the death of a 19-year-old female. No foul play is suspected.
9:09 AM – 15600 Blk. CR 681 – Officer responded to check on the caller’s father. Everything was okay.
3:17 PM – 15500 Blk. Main St. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for speeding in a school zone which resulted in the arrest of a 44 year old male for an active warrant out of Jim Wells County for possession of a controlled substance. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County jail.
3:57 PM – 15100 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to an active alarm. The business was secure.
Wednesday, March 20
12:23 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a property dispute.
6:25 AM – 14500 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to a verbal disturbance between a father & son.
9:00 AM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to a complainant regarding the suspicious death of four dogs in the neighborhood.
11:55 AM – 17900 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer responded to a request that animal control contact the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office.
1:07 PM – 18900 Blk. Wisdom Rd. – The officer responded and issued a citation for a city ordinance leash law violation.
3:04 PM – 18600 Blk. N. Benton St. – Officer responded to a verbal disturbance between a male and a female.
4:55 PM – 15200 Blk. Oak St. – Officer responded to a verbal disturbance between a male and a female.
Thursday, March 21
6:15 AM – 14600 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to an active alarm. Officers discovered an open door and waited until an employee arrived. Everything was okay.
10:30 AM — 18900 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers escorted the boys’ and girls’ powerlifting teams.
11:34 AM – Assist Atascosa EMS –14400 Blk. Main St. – Officer responded to assist a female having a medical emergency.
2:00 PM – IH 35 NB @ MM 132 – Officers responded to a three-vehicle non-injury accident.
10:36 PM – 14800 Blk. Main St. – Officers provided an escort for the robotics team.
Friday, March 22
7:56 AM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer responded to the damage to twelve climate-controlled storage unit doors. The damage occurred when three suspects broke into the units, stealing electronics and TVs. The theft occurred between 3:00 AM to 4:00 AM this morning and was discovered by an employee at 7:30 AM. The case is under investigation.
8:06 PM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer spoke to a renter of one of the storage units that had been broken into earlier in the morning. The victim reported four televisions, valued at $955.00, being stolen.
Saturday, March 23
12:41 AM – IH 35 Frontage Rd. @ FM 3175 – Officer provided a courtesy ride to a stranded person to the city of Somerset.
4:37 AM – 15300 Blk. Oak St. – Officer responded to the death of a 79-year-old male.
3:15 PM – N. Bank St. – Officers responded to a vehicle blocking a storage unit entrance.
3:45 PM – 15000 Blk. Harbour St. – Officer responded to a report of a suspicious person in the complainant’s yard a few days earlier. Everything was okay.
5:00 PM – Assist Bexar County Sheriff’s Office – IH 35 NB Near Luckey Rd. – The officer received a call from a passing motorist of a mattress in the roadway outside the city limits of Lytle. Bexar County Sheriff’s Office was notified.
8:48 PM – 200 Blk. CR 6842 – Officer responded to a report of gunshots outside the city limits of Lytle. Medina County Sheriff’s Office was notified.
10:59 PM – IH 35 NB @ MM 131 – Officers responded to a vehicle vs deer non-injury accident.
Sunday, March 24
3:22 AM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers observed a male doing burnouts in the parking lot, which resulted in the arrest of a 25 year old male for DWI. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County jail.
11:08 AM – Assist Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office – FM 3175 Near Quail Creek – Officer received a phone call about a male in a gold shirt holding a pistol and walking on the side of the road outside the city limits of Lytle. The information was relayed to the ACSO.
1:00 PM – Star Cross Trail – Officer was flagged down by a resident regarding vehicles parked on the road with expired registrations.
1:30 PM – Lytle-Somerset St. @ Lazy J Trail – Officer observed a missing stop sign. Lytle Public Works was notified and replaced the sign.
1:34 PM – 14700 Blk. Railroad St. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for speeding, which resulted in a short pursuit. The vehicle and driver were identified, and the case is under investigation.
8:33 PM – Assist Atascosa Co. Sheriff’s Office – Grandberg Rd. @ FM 3175 – The officer was dispatched to assist with a vehicle that had run off the road, officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
