9:30 AM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to a female about a phone scam using the Police Phone Number.
10:45 AM – 14800 Blk. Main St. – Officers provided a funeral escort to the Lytle Community Cemetery.
4:19 PM – 19500 Blk. IH 35 – Officer responded to a two-vehicle non-injury accident.
6:45 PM – Benton City Rd. @ Magnolia St. – An officer initiated a traffic stop for a defective headlight, which resulted in the arrest of a 45 year old male on five active felony warrants: one out of Medina County for theft, and four out of Wilson County for Engaging in Criminal Activity, Theft, Engaged in Organized Criminal Activity, and Conspiracy to Commit Theft. Subject was booked into the Medina County jail.

12:15 PM – Lytle PD – Officer spoke to the sister of an assault victim that was alleged to have occurred in November 2023. No address was provided, and no report was made in the city of Lytle.

5:54 AM – 19300 Blk. N. Prairie St. – Officers responded to a report of an attempted car theft. The unlocked 2012 Kia Soul had the ignition tampered with between 10:30 PM to 5:45 AM.
6:25 AM – 19200 Blk. Blume Dr. – Officer responded to a report of an attempted car theft. The 2017 Hyundai Accent had the rear passenger window broken and the steering column tampered with. The owner estimated damage to be between $500 – $1000.
7:10 AM – 19300 Blk. Blume Dr. – Officer observed a broken car window that was an attempted car theft and contacted the homeowner. The 2018 Hyundai Optima had the rear passenger window broken and the steering column tampered with between 6:00 PM on 3/8/2024 and 6:00 AM on 3/9/2024. The owner estimated damage to be between $500 – $1000.
8:30 AM – 19200 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to the report of a $10 motion picture bill being used for a purchase.
1:43 PM – 15200 Blk. Adams St. – Officer responded to a burglary of an unlocked 2017 Toyota Corolla. Between 7:00 PM 3/8/2024 and 1:09 PM 3/9/2024, the thief stole a $400 Pioneer radio face.
6:20 PM – Assist Bexar County and Medina County Sheriff’s Office – FM 2790 @ Old Frio City Rd. – Officer responded outside the city limits of Lytle to assist with a road rage incident.
7:59 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to unlock a vehicle but discovered it was unlocked upon arrival.
8:49 PM – 19500 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to an unwanted customer.
9:28 PM – 15000 Blk. Main St. – Officers initiated a traffic stop for failing to dim the headlights, which resulted in a 37 year old male’s arrest for DWI. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County jail.

1:50 AM – 15000 Blk. Main St. – Officers initiated a traffic stop for driving on the improved shoulder, which resulted in the arrest of a 36 year old male for DWI 3rd. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County jail.
10:20 AM – Lytle PD – Officer received a call from a resident regarding low water pressure. Lytle Public Works was notified regarding the problem.
11:30 AM – City of Lytle – Officers spoke to the employees of all businesses regarding the boil water notification.

3:00 PM – Assist Medina County Sheriff’s Office –19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer assisted with a phone theft that originated outside the city limits of Lytle.
3:50 PM – 19400 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report of a male sleeping between the buildings.
3:50 PM – 19600 Blk. Florence St. – Officer responded to a 911 hang-up to discover a child playing with a phone.
4:03 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to a two-vehicle hit-and-run non-injury accident. The second vehicle was located, and the driver was identified.
6:13 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to a report of a vehicle parked illegally in a handicapped parking spot but could not locate it.
9:43 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to issue a criminal trespass warning and observed a 40 year old male walk outside the store with a small red basket, shoplifting food and Tylenol valued at $53.09. Subject was issued a citation for theft and released.
10:13 PM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers initiated a traffic stop for a defective tail lamp that resulted in a 22 year old male receiving a citation and being released for possession of drug paraphernalia.
