Lupe “Dora” Rizo, 83, passed away on November 8, 2020 in Devine, Texas. She was born on January 1, 1937 in Poteet, Texas.
Dora was preceded in death by her parents, Emilio and Antonia Rodriguez; her husband, Antonio Rizo; her son, Frankie Rizo; her brothers, Rumaldo Rodriguez, Nicholas Rodriguez, Lencho Rodriguez, and Joe Cruz Rodriguez; sisters, Catarina Alvarez, Dominga Rodriguez, Elena Rodriguez, Manuela Jaramillo, Petra Trevino, and Mary Rodriguez; and great-grandson Isaiah Balderrama.
Dora is survived by her son, Tony (Susan) Rizo, Jr., and daughter Jane (Steven) Gonzales; her granddaughters, Jennifer (Steve) Lujan, Adelfa (Gabe) Hewtty, Alissa (Joey) Blanquiz, Helen Rizo, Toni Rizo, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at St. John Bosco Church in Natalia, Texas. Viewing is at 9:00 am, rosary at 9:30 am, and Mass to follow.
