Luis M. Guerra (Lou) passed away on Monday, August 5th, 2019 at the age of 67. He was born in Laredo, TX on March 10, 1952 to Refugio Guerra Jr. and Martha B. Guerra.
He graduated from J.W. Nixon high school in Laredo, TX and joined the Air Force in 1971 where he served until 1981. As a Vietnam veteran, he worked for the United States Postal Service where we worked his way up from clerk, to city carrier, to postmaster of the Devine and Pleasanton post offices. Lou loved to work hard and play hard, and after retirement enjoyed fishing, cars, and decking out his RV.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon L. Guerra, his children, Heather, Ian (Valeria), Amber (Rene), Halley, and Cameron. He is also survived by his brother, Samuel Guerra (Maricela), nephew Samuel Guerra Jr. and five grandchildren (Sydney, Alexis, Taylor, Santiago and Carlos).
